Perfect support after surgery!
My husband recently underwent sinus surgery, and this pillow set has been an absolute essential during his recovery. It offers the perfect inclination to keep his head elevated, which was critical to reduce swelling and promote proper healing. The pillows are thoughtfully designed and easy to adjust, allowing us to create just the right angle for both comfort and medical needs. The material is soft but supportive, and it’s helped him sleep and rest much better — something that was nearly impossible in a flat position.I truly believe this set helped speed up his recovery and made those first difficult days much more manageable. Highly recommend for anyone recovering from sinus or similar head-related surgery.

Best pillow for incline to avoid nasal congestion.
I've tried many different wedge like pillows to fight congestion while I sleep. The best thing about this is the thickness difference from all the others. The multiple wedges give more flexibility to find the right angle for your needs. I found the shortest wedge is really all the angle I need and it's MUCH more comfortable than the other pillow options I tried.

Great solution for a better night's sleep
Great solution for a better night's sleep for me. I need my feet raised and my head raised. I separated the 3 pieces: I use the large, slanted pillow for my feet, the small one for my head, and the rounded pillow supports my neck. I have bought three of these and plan to buy one more for a family member.

Very soft, not firm at all.
Was really hoping this pillow set would be the trick to help my boyfriend with his acid reflux. He feels better sitting upright while sleeping & a wedge pillow like this would make that easier instead of the pile of pillows he uses now.Unfortunately, the foam is just too soft to really help. Granted he is 6'3" and 230bs, but it just swashes right down. It just can't support him the way he needs. He tried rotating it into different positions but no go. The little additional pillows don't help either and are even softer, if that was possible. They flatten just from my legs, and I'm nowhere near as big as my boyfriend. It was cheap though...so what more could I expect.

Very firm with little give on top, relieves pain, but serious petroleum smell
I purchased this item because I am over 60 years old and I have degenerative bone disease and arthritis and I suffer a lot of pain. I hoped that my purchase would alleviate pain and help correct my posture. When I opened the box, I saw the items were vacuum packed in heavy plastic and squashed paper then and rolled together into one large roll in order to ship in one box. It was easy to open the plastic with a pair of scissors. I laid on it to check it out. I have asthma and allergies, so I am rather overwhelmed by strong odors. Initially I noticed a strong chemical smell like gasoline or nail polish remove or something of a combination. It made me nauseated and I wanted to vomit. I imagined if I let it lay in the other bedroom that eventually the smell would go away. I waited a week thinking the smell would dissipate and it did not.I was curious and I researched and I found out that in foam products, the chemical smell has something to do with the manufacturing, but that products are supposed to be certified to insure that they meet a guideline for low gas emission. Sometimes polyurethane products smell like gasoline because they are made with petroleum based products, which made me wonder if there was a fire if I would go up in flames like a lighter to a match. I thought about maybe giving a piece of foam a test, but then I thought of all the trees around us and stopped that thought. I didn't bother to find out if this product had any certification, but I am wondering now. I was determined to use it because I paid for it and now I guess I was stuck with it since it was now too big to put back into the box and mail back. Maybe I should have pushed for a refund, but I have excruciating pain and I didn't see any other good alternative that I could actually afford. My handy dandy partner took a roll of plastic painter's tarp which you can cut to size and wrapped my wedge and pillow bolster in plastic, taped it. Then he wrapped a large king sized sheet over it. I laid on it again. No smell. Now I was able to try it out.I tried it out to see if I could manage to sleep on it, and if my pain was better. It was really firm. I thought okay I guess it will last a long time and won't lose its' shape easily like the one I got from Walmart. I like a firm mattress, but I like it to have a little bit of softer material on top, like gel or memory foam, so it was okay for me but not great.. I am thinking to myself now I have to buy a memory foam bed topper to add to the top of it and I wonder how much that will cost me to add to the cost of my pain relief. I ended up using one of the bolsters for my neck. One I used under my left hip because it is really painful without the extra support. And then I had to use a pillow on my left side to support my arm. The pain relief was awesome. I probably will need another few bolsters for my arms and my hip to be totally comfortable. To conclude, I have major concerns about safety and legal adherence to off-gassing rules, but it did relieve my pain and I was searching for an affordable alternative to expensive orthopedic wedges. My pain is so incredibly intense and I am on a limited budget. If it weren't for my limited budget I might have insisted on a refund, but my priority was relieving pain that make it difficult for me to function and so that was my priority. However, I do still have serious concerns about safety.t

Great but smelly
Just what we need, unfortunately, there is a "diesel-fuel-like smell" from the foam so we can't use it until we get rid of it.

Arrived the same day, which was why I chose to buy that particular one
I originally bought the $219.06 piece lumen X wedge pillow set for orthopedic surgery. The pillows slipped in slide sided and I ended up having to go back into the doctors office for the next morning after using it for one day so I returned it and I picked this model. I will update you tomorrow morning how it works. I’m hoping that it was simple enough yet did the trick so that I don’t feel like I’m doing set ups in the morning with a torn rotator cuff I just had my surgery on Thursday
