This product works!
It brought a low sodium level up to normal. And instead of swallowing the tablets, I grind them up and put it in applesauce or chocolate pudding. I make it up ahead of time, enough for 4 days.

Made me sick
I took the daily dose suggested by my nephrologist. After 3 days I felt sick and tired. It was bad. Everyone has different reactions to chemicals. Mine was not good.

Granules from UreaAide are preferable.
I have purchased the granules and the tabs directly from UreaAide. I was disappointed in the tabs. They are so huge it defies swallowing by even the largest homosapiens. If you try to cut them with a standard pill cutter they are too large and shatter. They must be cut a second time. It is a bloody mess and scratchy to swallow. Yes, they are effective but far more of a bother to use, unfortunately, then the granules.We have go back to the granules. One teaspoon and a half twice a day mixed in 4 oz. of mango juice from the grocery store is delightful and allows consumption of a total of 8 fluid ounces of fluid daily, resulting in a monthly measured BMP/sodium level of 134--137. The elevated BUN is not a worry and reflective of the exogenous urea. Creatine is in the normal range. Amounts of fluid and granules will vary with each individual person. UreaAide purchased in 4 packs, directly on the website, is less expensive and a 5 star supplement.
