Heat the sticky side before applying…once on apply a little heat to the edges to perfect the seal.

It does the job, use on a dry surface and apply gentle heat.

Needed to do a temporary repair to the ridge of a shed felted roof which had cracked. Covered the full ridge. Used a hard wallpaper roller to press down the tape to the felt covering. To-date it seems to be still firmly stuck down. Success was aided by the the firm pressing down with roller.

I can only assume the seller has stored this poorly or it is extremely old stock. When you peel the backing off there is absolutely zero stickiness. I assumed at first I’d purchased the wrong kind, and bought tape that required another product to go with it.The downside is I wanted this for a shed roof, I measured the length required and cut the strip off ready to use, this meant non returnable.
