The Double Blast is a high caliber double paddle spinner that was created with the backyard shooter in mind. You’ll never have to worry about resetting after the shot and one solid hit will cause it to spin around eventually returning to the original position. Designed with high caliber rounds in mind, the solid steel frame has a sturdy four-leg base system that doesn't topple over even when you're using the strongest slugs available then folds for convenient transport and storage. The Double Blast comes with a durable bright orange powder coat finish and is rated for 9mm up to 30.06 soft nose lead. No assembly or tools required.

Worked like great, with high caliber
We used this with 30/06 and .243 calibers at 50 yards with no problems. Probably will make a wood base for this because it can be difficult to use on hard gravel.

This Rocks!! and Swivels
Instead of wasting trees and purchasing the hanging targets, we decided to try this thing out!! Saved a ton of money and stopped buying paper targets!!! Definitely recommend!

Too fun to shoot
Had a blast with this product. Ridiculously fun to shoot, and rewards you with a nice sounding ding and some entertaining spins thus confirming a hit. You cant help but to want to mag dump as accurately as possible and see how fast you can spin it. Should have followed the caliber/distance guidelines. Think it says 150-200yrd for a .223 but I was limited to a range of probably about 80 yards max and the 223 at that distance inevitably destroyed the target. Worked Superb for a wide variety of pistol calibers. First time shooting spinning targets.Definitely purchasing this product again and other such similar targets.

Target is strong but frame need modification
The main reason I bought this is just to get the spinner target because it is 3/8 " thick and very strong. The enclosure in my opinion is weak and not sturdy unless you dig deeper into the ground, but then it will be too low for my liking. The diameter of the frame is 1/2 ", I mounted on my existing wooden frame to gain an extra 9" high. Later on when the enclosure get chew up I will upgrade to a 5/8" steel bar with collets and reuse the spinner target only ( see picture)

Legs too short
Unless you at the perfect ground the legs are too short to keep the target from flying out of the ground. First several times I used it with a 556 round with Target would not stay standing.

Read the directions. Awesome little target when used correctly!
It's sturdy enough to take a 150 gn 30-30 win, and 5.56 m193 ball at the recommended distance of 200 yard. Minimal denting at that distance. I have over 500 9mm and .45acp (1000 rounds total) on one side only. Keep a can of spray paint handy, this this is too much fun. Even walked it with a 1 oz slug at 50 yards. All it did was unscrew a leg.

Very brittle metal, not meant for rifles.
Shot at with 5.56 between 50 and 75 yards. My other spinner held up just fine. This one must be meant for pistol calibers because the smaller and larger targets snapped right off. Not sure if this was too brittle or if I got a bad spinner. My first time shooting this one too. The larger target had a shot close to where it attached to the spinner arm, but the smaller target did not have any impacts near the arm at all. It broke off almost cleanly where is attaches to the spinner arm. If buying this, maybe stay away from 5.56 and larger. Also, I wish the legs had points so that it staked into the ground more easily.

Great spinner target!
This is a great spinner target! I've now shot this with my .40 S&W and .45 ACP. I've used Jacketed Hollow Point (JHP) and Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) and both just leave a lead mark on the target (not even a dent). I've also shot the frame many many times with all the rounds and it only peels the paint off. This is shooting at the target from as close as 20 yards away. Also, the target stays in the ground very firmly because of the back legs that give it greater stability than most other spinner targets. I don't see how this thing wouldn't last many many years of continued abuse. I'm going to have some shots at it with my 5.56 AR-15 from 150 to 200 yards away and see how it does (I'll try to report back). If you're planning on shooting pistol or rimfire, buy this target and don't think twice!
