good tool - but........
As said by others the circlip on the end of the worm drive shaft is just too weak and pops off if you put the item under any real pressure. I guess the clue is in the name "light duty corner clamp" and they really do mean it. Having said that, if used carefully, one finger pressure to tighten onto the job, then it really is a useful tool

Not the best built piece of kit but after effecting a repair when one of the spring clips came adrift it did the job it was meant for.

Stanley Corner Clamp - Light Duty
So far I've used this to assemble frames using 3x2 timber. I might have been better off buying the Heavy Duty version. I think this one is only suitable for timber up to 2x1.

Break way too easily
I bought one of these years ago on the Stanley brand name. I used it once and the circlip broke. Since I could not find these anywhere for sale, I replaced this with set of 4 from ebay which cost about £4 for all 4 and these have lasted years. So when I saw these on Amazon I was excited to finally be able to replace the ebay ones, thinking that the Stanley one I bought years ago was just faulty. However on the first use of these new ones, the c-clip again broke. This is definitely a design fault which render these things useless. Unfortunately I was a day past my return period when i used and broke it. Buyers be warned. The cheap ebay ones are better!
