As a Nursery Practitioner I am always excited to be offered for review any toys and resources which I can share with the children in my playroom. We have recently explored an animal theme within the room, linked to the book "Dear Zoo" - We are lucky to live in Edinburgh and have been able to make trips to our local zoo which the 2 - 3 year old's in my room have loved! When I saw this elephant soft toy, I jumped at the chance to add it to my story corner and it has been a huge hit! We have called her Nellie, ofcourse, and she is great for offering cuddles, keeping an eye on carpet time and just general play - Last week two of the children in my playroom gave her a hard hat from our small world area and carried her around with them as they "fixed" the furniture in our room! Nellie is a good size, has a lovely velvet touch and a super cute cuddly trunk. The finish and stitching is good with no loose threads and she has a very expressive face with big eyes. Her ears a nice to handle and flap about, and she is just a really lovely addition to our toy store. This would be great for gifting to any elephant fan and offers good value at £18.99.

I love this elephant so much because it is such good quality and such a nice colour.This stuffed toy is perfect for babies, toddlers and little children, it goes with any coloured/type of room since it is light gray and will fit in well. It is perfect for toddlers aged around 18-48 months since they can play with it cuddle it and talk to it for fun.When delivered it comes in an air tight bag and once opened it pops out into a massive elephant, which is super cuddly and very soft and silky.I recommend buying this for your little one, it would be a great gift or even to treat yourself for a nice big cuddle.

Looks very cute but sadly started falling apart after a few days despite careful handling.

This large elephant plush arrived vacuum sealed so his fabric is extremely wrinkled! The stuffing inside also feels very lumpy. I left him alone for a few hours to see if he’d plump up at all, but his stuffing was still clumped up inside. I decided to pop him in the tumble dryer on low heat which helped with the wrinkles a bit, but the lumpy stuffing still feels a bit weird when you give him a hugOther than that, the plush is really well made with nice quality embroidery. The eyes are embroidered which makes it a safe choice for kids. He’s the perfect size for cuddling with and looks very sweet on the bed. Just a bit lumpy and wrinkly! Also, his ears don’t stick out, they sit flat to his head, but this makes him look quite cute!
