It Did Its Job!
My best friend's husband, a man in his 30s, absolutely loved this LEGO set add-on! It makes a fantastic gift. Everything arrived exactly as expected, and the shipping and price were excellent. This set truly brings joy and puts a smile on faces. Highly recommend!

A fun build, but with some glaring design issues
I purchased 2 of this kit so that my son and I could build them in tandem, and each of us have one to display. While it was great fun to build, all parts were accounted for, and the instructions were easy to follow, I find the final design somewhat lacking. When completed, inserting the sword actuates 2 levers that push out the hidden treasure chests from either side of the base. A fun feature, but without modification, you can't store the sword upright in the base without this occurring. It makes for a cumbersome display when the treasure chests won't stay stored in the base. The design of the sword hilt could have used a couple 2x2 round plates (or an additional 2x2 round brick instead of the wheel hub) in purple to slightly extend the hilt length and allow for better grip between the hilt and blade. This joint can be overly delicate without reinforcement.Lastly the opening for the blade in the base could have used a couple SNOT bricks (1x1 with side stud) to slightly narrow the opening and prevent as much side-to-side movement of the blade when displayed in the base.I am overall pleased with the quality of brick and entertaining design, but wished it was slightly more refined.

Kinda disappointed...
Bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. The pictures are a bit deceiving. The sword is a pastel white color, the blocks do not fit nice and tightly like Lego or Mega sets do and there were two faulty pieces that still usable but obviously flawed. Also, the sword pushing down and the sides opening mechanic does not work like shown.

Excellent!
Bought this as a present for my sons friend. He just turned 10 and loved it! Found it easy to assemble and functions as it should. It was the perfect size to display on his dresser. It was great quality. Excellent value for the cost.

Great Christmas Gift!
My 9-year old son loves all things Zelda and Link. He also loves building blocks, so this was a major hit! He has taken it apart and reassembled it several times. The blocks are of good quality and instructions are clear. Overall, I would recommend it 100%.
