Ease of use with Dyson
This tiny lever installed on my Dyson made life so much better! The ability to keep the vacuum on while avoiding the strain of squeezing the trigger is amazing. Shared the 2nd one in the pack with an elderly friend, who also loves it.

Great little addition
This trigger does the trick. No more holding the button on my V15 Dyson. Just flip it back and forth.

Great!
I got a V15 Detect and found the trigger to be awkward to use, especially with my arthritis.I bought this item while feeling a bit skeptical as most of these cheap add-ons are junk. Not this one, though. I’m able to use my new Dyson as if it had an on/off switch. Installation couldn’t have been easier on my model.I got the 2-pack as I don’t know how long it will last, and the 30-day warranty almost seems like they expect it to be a throw-away item. Thus the 3-star review rather than 5.

Works on V15 Absolute; Easy to use
Pros: Does exactly what it's supposed to doCons: NoneWife: "Thank you for the $700 vacuum cleaner, I don't like that I have to hold the trigger down."Me: 2 days and Amazon Prime shipping later: "Done. You're welcome."Really this does what Dyson should do in the first place which is allow there to be a trigger lock. Understandably battery life will suffer if you are running the vacuum continuously, but I would rather that than have my wife have sore hands and not want to vacuum as much. For the install, slide the piece up to the trigger (there is a small notation on the switch that says on and off; slide it until it almost touches the trigger, or if you wish, slide until it turns on then back it off just a little bit.It comes in a cute case, which quite frankly is overkill and a waste of plastic for this, but at least gives the impression of attention to detail (I will use the other on my V8); and that will be the replacement for the V15 switch if it breaks. One can argue the merits against Dyson for needing to buy a $10 part to fix what is essentially an engineering problem for a company that basically engineers things better, but alas, this is where we are.It is held on fairly snugly but can be removed with little effort, so could get lost. Also, it is possible to use the trigger in the usual fashion while this is connected, however on my hands, my finger does rub against the switch if I do this, which would be annoying at best and create some abrasions or irritation at worst. Nevertheless, this does exactly what it is supposed to do and it makes my wife happy. In the end, money well spent.

Works great
It feels maybe a little cheap, but so far it works great. I don’t know how long it will last but I’m glad I bought it.
