Nice set, pieces are great quality, as good as the real thing. The picture doesn't really do it justice in real life the tree is a lot bigger and bushier and can be adjusted and positioned into a decent shaped canopy. Didn't bother with the lights though.. They're just a string of tiny LEDs and mine were multicoloured.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my niece, who had asked for more lego! Nice to see such a nice piece for girls!

I really enjoyed building this the first time. Due to a missing piece the structural integrity of the tree was compromised and when clicking the branches on it collapsed! I saved it the first time but the second time it ended up in several different pieces and me being so blimin annoyed that I had to put it down for 24 hours!!However I have managed to rebuild it and it is so pretty especially with the lights and now takes a prize position within my living room.Great product but would be better it the structural piece hadn’t have been missing. Very fragile and now for playing with.

Poor quality plastic that does not click into place, causing a lot of frustration. Child was very upset so we had to return it. Such a shame as it looked good in the picture. Would not recommend.

I threw the lights. They were cheap xmas lights, and would have pulled the leaves back off the tree. I will get some brick lights for this set though. It's big brand compatible, and I got it on an amazing sale, so I would absolutely buy it again, the value was amazing and it looks good in my city. Building the tree drove me mad though, it fell apart 5 times from building pressure at higher points. I don't glue my sets, but I wish I did this one...

This brick-building set has 841 pieces, which means that there is plenty of scope for customising the set, and fun in rebuilding it. The LED lighting is a novel inclusion, so it can double as a night light or just add a bit of holiday atmosphere if giving as a Christmas present. This is not LEGO, but very much like it. Be warned if giving it as a gift (especially for Christmas!) as the two required AAA batteries are not included! On a positive note it is compatible with LEGO, so it's easy to mix and match elements of this set with your other brick sets. I have mentioned Christmas, but the theme is a lot along the lines of Easter and 'cherry blossom time'. It is perhaps leaning towards being designed for girls, withthe pinks, purples, and small animals. Overall, it's excellent value-for-money and will keep a child of 8-10 occupied for a good couple of hours. The only thing that slightly lets the set down is the box - it's not the luxury box that you might get with a LEGO set.
