Great monitor with fake HDR
Overall, this monitor is top-notch for its price. If anyone finds it useful, connecting the monitor via DP - Type C works perfectly.Advantages:High-quality SDR image that is fairly easy to calibrate manually. No dead pixels or backlight bleed.Great price. There is an app through which you can open the monitor settings on your PC and import or export them.Supports 10-bit color depth.Disadvantages:If you’re buying this monitor for HDR, think twice!Fake HDR10 (no VESA certification), which looks very faded and extremely poor. This HDR needs serious tweaking just to look like a normal SDR mode. Max brightness is 250 nits, which is way below the 400 cd/m² minimum threshold for halfway decent HDR.Default preset settings are terrible — every one of them pushes a “warm image” on you.I'm leaving 5 stars because the fake HDR has no effect on the picture quality or performance of the monitor without HDR and for this price I would take this monitor without HDR.Same ISO, Shatter and WB in the photos.

No speakers
The monitor is overall worth the price only downside is no speakers or aux to get speakers for it but lots of work around for that the gaming performance is really good for how much it cost it’s really lightweight and sturdy

Acer Nitro KG272 S3 27-inch Gaming Monitor - Pretty Good
Not much to say, an old BenQ monitor suddenly died so i got the Acer Nitro KG272 S3 27-inch Gaming Monitor to replace it, using it on Linux with an all AMD/Radeon setup and it is working great so far, colours are a bit weird/bright compared to my old monitor, some adjusting it seems will be rrequired. The higher refresh rates are also very good compared to my old 60hz monitor, the only major drawback are the internal speakers, they are simply horrible, horrible low quality rubbish and the only thing my older BenQ monitor did far better. I run a dual monitor setup and my other monitor is an older Acer R271, its built in audio/speaker quality is simply far superior to this newer Acer KG272 S3 which is quite a shocking result for a much newer device.

Good screen.
Purchased for a new tower PC, as the old laptop is getting quirky.Very satisfied with it, good colour rendering and good brightness. I'm not a gamer so may be overkill but it's a very nice screen.

Works perfectly - no issues
Overall I've had no issues with this monitor, everything as advertised 180hz etc... one thing is that the bezels are noticeably smaller which is no issue but rather a positive. I have this monitor mounted via the VESA mount and have had no problems. For the price I don't think you'll find a better monitor.

Darker around edges and not great overall
The monitor itself was well built, and very light weight - however - there was a very obvious vignette (darker around all edges) and things in bottom corners weren't very clear. The viewing angle was weird too - even looking square on, by moving head slightly - the colours and gamma would change. It was very very annoying, it's also NOT HDR! I've sent back for a full refund.Would probably be good for a cheap way into high refresh rates for gaming.
