Seems to work!
Received quickly and results seem accurate. Noticed an increase in radon when placed near a hole in the concrete floor

Item failed after a few months
This product initially worked fine, but then even after changing batteries, it produces inaccurate readings.Product is only a few months old.

Looked used but seems accurate

Unsure
I don't know if it's accurate or not because I have nothing else to compare it to . Shows blinking numbers on it though and they are under 1 so I'm hoping it's accurate

appeared to just stop working and took 3 days before it started to register again
I know the building it's in as a very small amount of radon in it, and it's registering that but I do not know the ppm so I can't say if it's registering correctly for the amount. As for the ease of use, there is only one button which seems to change the units and that's it. Resetting or taking out the batteries is the only other thing related to it.I would look at it whenever I would walk past it, it was always registering something till about 3 weeks ago. I let it go for a couple of days with no change. I tried to do a reset and a battery removal (but only for a few seconds) with no change. Finally I removed the batteries for about an hour. The next day it was back to registering numbers on the screen. There was no other error codes, just blinking dashes when this happened. If you are doing long term monitoring that you aren't looking into for a while, this could be an issue.

Easy to Use
UPDATE: I have been using this detector for a couple of months, and it seems to be reliable. I ordered it because several houses in my neighborhood had to have radon mitigation fans installed when they were sold. When I checked my house, the readings in the basement near my open sump pump well were very high: 60 to 80! I installed a sump well cover which lowered the numbers to high single digits. I then installed a radon mitigation fan with 3 inch PVC pipe and I'm down to a long term average of 0.24, with single readings from zero to about 0.4 at the highest. So, the readings from this detector seem to make sense and I have made my house safer.ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is a great device to check radon levels if you're planning on selling your home, or just want peace of mind that the levels are safe. It's super-easy to use. Just insert three AAA batteries, wait about a day for the self calibration and startup process to be completed, and the monitor starts showing radon levels. The display is large and clear, and shows the level detected for the last day, and a running average for the entire time since it was powered on.The unit can either just be placed on a flat surface, or there is also a slot on the back to hang it from a screw or nail in the wall. Overall, it's a great way to keep track of radon levels.

No home should be without
I spend a lot of time in my basement. I tested the radon levels 30 years ago when we purchased the house but haven't tested since then, until I got this detector. There was some radon in those tests, but below 3 pCi/L. With this monitor I've got a lot more information. The long term average isn't too bad, about 3 pCi/L. But what's interesting is watching the daily averages. When we get a large rain it can jump as high as 6 or 7 pCi/L, and it can remain well above 4 for a week or more if the weather is wet. This is information you cannot get with the lab processed tests. Going forward I'm going to open the windows for a day when it rains a lot. And I'm going to watch the levels to see how they change with the seasons. I can also see how a short term test can lead to wildly different readings. I think looking continuously at both long term and short term is the only way to know for sure. Any house anywhere can have radon, its important to track.I can't comment on the accuracy. Sometime in the near future I want to purchase a long term lab test to compare.
