I am really pleased with this magnetic chalkboard. The frame is a nice quality and it doesn't look too much like something for an office. My collection of cheap souvenir magnets sticks all stick firmly. Liquid chalk markers work well on the blackboard surface and erase cleanly with just water and a paper towel. Would recommend!

Update…. The company reached out and resolved the issue and offered to refund or replace the item. I opted for the replacement and they sent me a brand new one in perfect condition! They have been in contact with me very frequently to make sure I was aware of everything the entire replacement journey! Thank you Kate for raising the issue!Very poor. Not happy at all for what I paid for it! Chalkboard was popped out of frame when we opened it. I was able to put it back but it’s not flat, it has a wave to it and I just know every time I write on it , it will bounce back and forth. All the chalk is broken and a hot mess in the box. There is a piece of wood broken off of the frame. Not sure if I want the hassle of returning it with as big as it is

Due to COVID 19 we are forced to keep our kids home from school. They will Begin Distance learning for a portion of the new school year. I’ve decided to turn a space into my home into a classroom. I put the board in my classroom so that my kids can use it to create as well as take notes on upcoming assignments. They’re so beautiful! I especially love the rustic frame. The magnetic 🧲 feature of the board is strong and it comes with extra accessories. I absolutely love the cloth it comes with . The cloth is very soft and ensures to erase markings on the board without scratching it up. The cloth gets the chalk off without having to wet it to get a clean look. The first chalk board I received didn’t have the extra accessories but I was able to contact amazon and get a replacement. I received my replacement the next day. I’ve decided to keep both boards because they’re just that great.

I Love the look!

I used the chalk pens that come with the chalkboard. When you erase the writing, you can still see the writing - the color comes off but the writing is still present in the black. All I wrote was “hello” - I can only imagine what this thing will look like over time. We tried water and then glass cleaner - I can still see my writing - it’s permanent ! I’m disappointed because we already screwed it into the wall so I can’t even send it back - so mad :(

The board is nice and exactly what I was looking for but the mounting holes in the back were not drilled evenly so even though I made sure the screws were level, the board is crooked. A better system for mounting would have made this 5 stars.
