U-Turn Audio - Orbit Plus (Gen 2) Turntable, Black

Wow! What a beautiful turntable. The sound is incredible. I had bought another well known brand unit that was skipping over and over no matter how perfectly clean my records were - once I upgraded it not only resolved ALL of those issues but I also got to experience the warmth of sound that I was looking for when I went on the journey. The be clear - this turntable has not skipped one time. Be aware - this unit does not come with a cue lever or automatic end of record return. These additional items are available from U-turn audio. For me the quality makes that a non-issue and if I had read deeper perhaps I would have selected these features on purchase.

After doing a fair amount of research, I opted for this table. Good price, excellent sound. Setup was very simple. The noise level is very low compared to my Gerrard Zero 92. I chose the basic cartridge.I am extremely pleased with the performance. One addition I would make is the purchase of the time arm staging adapter. I shake a bit.

I like everything about this turntable. It makes my vinyl collection sound much better than anything else I’ve ever owned. Customer service is outstanding too - my motor starting making some odd clicking noises so I called. No questions asked, they just sent me a replacement and it was simple to install. Nice company to deal with. Highly recommended!

Needed a modern turntable to replace old idler wheel table in a vintage Delmonico console. This particular turntable fit perfectly. I went for the acrylic player to try and reduce vibrations coming from the speakers. Cartridge is a great match for the table. Good value for the money!

Built in pre-amp. Belt drive. Acrylic platter. What more could you possibly need for a good set up? Love this turntable !!

I was a little disappointed bc this isn’t a HUGE upgrade over the last turntable I had which was half the price. The needle could definitely have been upgraded. Looks really good though.

The Motors on this turntable are very unpredictable. The wow/flutter is more than the specs say. Their CS is good, but I have been through one motor already, and the second one I received, I replaced myself, it is very easy. It is beginning to fail as the first one did. The second motor is starting to click when you turn it on. I am NOT going to recommend this turntable. They need to work on the design.

We upgraded from an Audio Technica. This is a great upgrade. The switching from 33rpm to 45rpm is a bit weird , but you get used to it quick (move the belt from one groove to another). Looks great, sounds great. Buy it.
