Mepore dressing are excellent. A very worthwhile dressing either to use now or to have in your first aid kit

They did what I wanted and covered an abrasion on the side of my foot. I could have done with a smaller patch as the area I needed covering was quite small and it resulted in folds along the side of the patch which made it a bit lumpy. I couldn't find the same product in a smaller size though and on the whole I was satisfied. Rather expensive though. I have previously bought a Mepore product which was much cheaper by comparison. I would buy this again.

2 open wounds following a fall. Always keep an 'in date' supply as prone to falls and my skin is sensitive to peeling, following them.I was introduced to Mepore Ultra by a Nurse at my GP practice but now buy and treat myself.

Bought these to dress a knee wound. Please don’t waste your money, they don’t stick and my daughter has ended up having to get the dressing changed halfway through the day each day these are worn. Yes knee wounds are notoriously difficult to dress due to movement but these dressings are just no good. When she’s had one on overnight, no problem as her leg is generally straight and not moving as much. Good for a part of the body which doesn’t bend.

Medical grade sterile dressings. Suitable for the elderly, because they stick well, but are not too sticky so are easy to remove without causing damage to fragile skin. Breathable and soft.

Adhesive okay if kept dry but these were supposed to be waterproof, which would make them more economical as I wouldn’t have had to change each day. However, even if edge didn’t lift they took on water. Only realised when bending over to pick up something after a shower & water poured out of dressing. These were needed after major abdominal surgery & it could have been very dangerous if I hadn’t realised the dressing was full of water. I have had to buy an alternative brand. On a positive note they didn’t irritate my skin like most other dressings.

These are good quality dressings. Good value too.
