**MUST HAVE** Recipe Book
I cannot fault anything with this book. As you can see I’ve made a lot of the meals so far. After buying the Bored of Lunch series (which is pretty hard to live up to), I’ve been sceptical about buying other recipe books. However, I’ve been following Emily on Instagram for a while and some of her recipes look “so good”, so thought I’d give the book a try. I preordered the book when it was on offer, so didn’t pay more than £12 for it, which is exceptional value for money. Since I’ve received this book, I’ve cooked multiple recipes each week, some for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The recipes are very easy to prepare and are delicious. (I usually have a tired toddler and a demanding 5 year old causing absolute chaos whilst I’m cooking dinner, so preparation needs to be simple and it very much is.I’ve found, sometimes nutritionally balanced recipes can be boring and lacking in flavour, this is not one of those books. Everything I’ve made has tasted INCREDIBLE. Most of the ingredients she uses are easy to find in the supermarket (Tescos, Morrisons, Lidl - especially for microwave quinoa), pricier ingredients are used sparingly and Emily makes sure you use those elsewhere too, so they’re not wasted. I’ve been able to use multiple ingredients across multiple dishes, which has meant it has not been costly to recreate these meals. Additionally, Emily provides advice on meal preparation and the instructions on how to store and reheat prepped items (which is amazing for me because I’m never too sure on reheating). The recipes are easy to prepare with no complicated instructions or skills required. I like that the lunch recipes are for one person - this has been amazing for me making lunches just for me, where as some recipe books, lunches are feeding 50 people and takes my entire lunch break to prep. Many of the recipes can be easily adapted (e.g. the sea bass orzo I've made with chicken because I couldn’t get sea bass from the shop that week - I don’t see why you couldn’t put in a vegetarian alternative to many of these recipes). Also, the recipes in this book are nutritionally balanced, this has meant, as someone who exercises a great deal, I've been able to adequately fuel myself, staying fuller for longer and upping my protein intake. I’ve found I’ve lost weight and have become more toned, less bloating etc. These recipes do take a little time in cutting up veg, but this has changed my life and if I have to spend 10 minutes cutting up veg, I really don’t mind. I’ve learnt new tips regarding seasonings on my meals and there’s even advice and a template for meal prepping - I’ve since copied this plan, printed my own and use this each week for planning meals in our house. My husband, who is not an adventurous cook, has been able to easily follow some of the recipes in here.Honestly, this might be my new favourite recipe book. I absolutely love it. Everyone NEEDS this book in their kitchen; it is AMAZING.

Simply beautiful!
Simply sooo good! Only received this beautiful book a couple of days ago. At first glance, I thought the recipes looked quite simple and similar to other cookbooks I have.However, since cooking three of the recipes already I can ensure you this recipes are simple but EFFORTLESS, ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS AND PACKED FULL OF FLAVOUR. Sometimes simple easy access ingredients can be made into a delicious meal. Em has excelled here.Also don't think there is a recipe I wouldn't make?! As a gym goer I love that she shows the protein content and calories in each serving.As a graphic designer the book is BEAUTIFUL and aesthetically pleasing. There are about 10 filler photos - like any other cookbook - ignore previous reviews.Made the Sexy Salmon last night and the sauce is absolutely divine, meal prepped a salad recipe for lunch for the next three days and it's packed with protein and nutrition.Don't hesitate to buy! Yes v different recipes to her Instagram - but british people will complain either way. Now you have the best of both worlds :)

Incredible Cookbook! But...
Edit to my review & 1 star reduction..For now I've taken a star off simply because I'm trying to lose weight and I saw several reviews saying the calories didn't add up so I've had to stop using it for now, I have yet to go through & calculate myself, maybe because I feel like I shouldn't have to?Apparently the miscalculations is due to AI working out the caloriesIf the calories are indeed incorrect I honestly think Emily should work it out and provide the correct macros to everyone who bought the book but I haven't seen an attempt to solve it which is a shame. Guess I have to wait until I can work it out myself for each recipe.I'd also like the know if her new book has accurate macros or not before purchasingThis cookbook has turned me into a chef!For the last few years I've been using nutritionists recipes to cook (mostly PDFs) & they've all been brilliant, but I noticed that Emily's is the most nutritionally balanced & has surprised me with how I feel about certain recipes after thinking it wouldn't be for meFor example my favourite dinner from this book is the salmon soup noodles (not the official name!) But usually I rarely have soup for dinner especially not without bread but the mix of everything makes it feel like a proper dinner and ended up being my favourite it's delicious!Emily is clearly very knowledgeable when putting food together & it feels clean with vegetables or food etc. but also sooo yummy!It's tested my cooking skills which were barely there before but due to her great instructions I've been able to pull them off!I also love that she included the rough calories count so I can track my food still, without that I wouldn't be able to use it while trackingI've made quite a few of the recipes & overall they're brilliant, going to attach some of my creations (the pie was pre oven obviously!)Thank you for this cookbook it's amazing quality & I still have more recipes to try!

Delicious, nutritious and easy to follow
The most amazing cookbook! Had given up on buying cookbooks, but after following Emily’s Instagram we gave it a try. The most delicious, well balanced food, everything feels like a treat! The whole family love it and the kids have even started cooking using her recipes.

Best recipe book
I adore Emily, after following her on socials I knew I needed her cook book. The book itself is beautifully put together, a hardback with good quality pages, amazing recipes and the perfect balance of written recipes and beautiful images.
