Drawers material its not too good

I used this to make my daughter a closet before we move to a bigger place. I LOVE THIS THING. It is great value for its capacity. Love that it has the lighting options. Easy assembly and looks great.

I didn't read the reviews first and might have skipped this had I did due to all the "oh its so small and the perfect dresser for kids and teens" with the amount of clothes we have. This thing has fit every article of clothing for two adults and looks so much better than the "industrial" freestanding closet thats glorified racks with hanging bars. It is very sturdy. The material is good quality. It's primarily metal, with what looks like a particle board top and bottom shelf. I do wish the drawers were some type of wood, not canvas with insert bottoms, but it's expected for the price and they do have metal handles. The wheels make it easy to move around. The drawers are plenty big enough if you use proper folding methods. The top three drawers fit shirts, pants, and shorts with room to spare. You can't see in the photo, but the drawer with the pyjamas has two rows of clothing; theres another layer of folded sleepwear underneath it. (Not including a picture of the underwear drawers, but those fit all the underwear and socks by the way LOL). As you also see, the hanging rack fit way more than 12-15 shirts. There's also suits and winter jackets on there. I've went ahead and bought a folding board to speed up the process for the drawers as they're like 10 dollars and give more precision and uniformity, but check out Marie Kondo's clothes folding if you want a good way to get the most storage out of this unit with or without a folding board. Overall, the product is a great purchase.Concerning the directions, it was confusing how to get the drawers set up how I wanted them. Plan ahead in case you have trouble with them. For example, the bottom shelf holes ended up under the drawers even when following the option for drawers like my setup, so it took an extra 45 minutes figuring out how to get the set up right. However, it's a minor inconvience compared to how well it turned out.

Petty nice, but the material of the drawer basket has a chemical smell that won’t go away. Love the lights and instructions are pretty cool . Just going to take a few hours to assemble
