The pad needs to be twice as wide as currently produced in order to be more comfortable. If user wants skinnier they can cut to desired width after they recieve it.

I've used kneeling pads for years since I'm an avid gardener and do a lot of digging and weeding. I've purchased cheap ones in the past that were basically foam and they held up for a while but were never very comfortable on the knees. This pad is not like the cheaper foam pads, this one is thick, foamy, cushiony rubber and worth the extra bucks. I've used it for both kneeling and sitting and it's holding up very well and my knees don't ache as much as with the cheaper ones, and it doesn't show any signs yet of developing indents from constant use. This should last for years as far as I can tell so I'm glad I spent the extra money and got a good one rather than having to buy cheap ones every year or so. I keep it in the garage with my gardening stuff and the field mice have left it alone, too, which wasn't always the case with the other pads.

Bought this for washing the car, cleaning wheels, gardening. Well made, lightweight but offers the protection your knees need. Just what I hoped for, value for money

Very good thickness. This saves my knees. Did not use it long enough to judge if it will survive long usage.
