Great for church dinners.

Excellent.. unlike most, these have actual flat bottoms. They are basically shaped just like the dixie 12 oz bowls i normally buy to use as insert bowls inside small bella pet bowls.. i put hot water in one and let it sit for like 6 hours and bottom got a little soft but, still intact so good for leaving wet food in them overnight for cats.. since we use 6 bowls a day, i like that these are compostable, don't have any wax/sealant? and that they are $20 cheaper than the dixies i usually buy.. will be our new bowls to buy from now on..

I picked these up for use while camping and when making food that's notorious for sticking to dishes. I was worried that they would get soggy or weak after being used with wetter items. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. These are rough paper bowls, no plastic, and are quite thick. They have held up well to use in the microwave, and for both cold and hot soups. After use, I put one in the sink and filled it with water, meaning to check on it an hour or so later. They next day, it was still in the sink, and just as solid as when I put it in.Given that in bulk they're probably the cheapest I've found paper bowls like this? I highly recommend them.

Nice heavy plates. Very sturdy and its great that they are compostable.

The plates are sturdy and resist moisture seeping through from meat juice, sauces or melted butter.I have purchased them a few times and will again.

I tried these bowls for a cheaper version. We go through bowls quite a bit for work. We feed Truck Drivers (free). They work fine, not as good as the ones I normally buy, but serve the purpose. I will not buy again for one reason only: The bowls came so compressed together that we literally have to use two hands to pull them apart and they rip easily. We do not have time to do that and/or maybe the patience. The value for the price is good, just wish they didn't have to be pulled apart.

I love these sturdy plates. They can be safely used in the microwave as well. I will purchase again.
