It’s not the nicest thing to do but this gets the job done. I prefer this over the electric ones any day. It made a huge difference for my baby’s breathing. Use a saline before hand for extra benefit

If you have tiny humans who can’t blow their nose yet then this is a must! It’s like a mini vacuum cleaner for little nostrils. Very effective in clearing my 3 month old’s nose when she was full of cold. Easy to clean and don’t worry it’s not as gross as you may think.

The plastic of the main body is solid and the tubing is of good quality. The filters are essentially cylinders of plastic foam. They are supposed to be single use, but I am not sure about were I would find replacements. This aspirator is designed to be used by putting the end of the tubing in your mouth and sucking air, this suction is meant to remove mucus from the baby nostrils. There is a further smaller filter near where the tubing is attached to the body, I guess to reassure the operator that he/she will not end sucking up unwanted substances. It works, but I find it a bit off putting, and my just stick a large syringe at the end of the tube. An important advantage is that it all comes apart and its transparent, to good cleaning can be achieved.
