Tommy Bahama

We love this umbrella and are so happy that we made the purchase. It held up well during very windy beach conditions. Our favorite part is the base that we can pile sand on for extra stability.

I love my 6ft Bahama Joe umbrella!! It was easy to set up and the anchorx base with stood the wind. It's also lightweight. I was able to walk to the beach with it slung across the front of my body, my chair on my back, a beach bag on my shoulder and my 50lb dog on a leash. My dog loved sitting underneath it!!!

Cute umbrella, sets up easily. Nice to able to bury the base in the sand for stability.It is not good on windy days at the ocean. Even buried with wet sand, it will pick right up and blow away. That makes it less safe, so use caution and maybe add some extra sandbags and don’t leave it unattended.Product is ok, but I am hesitant to recommend it.

I live at the beach and ONLY see Tommy bahama umbrellas so we purchased one and upon opening the first time, it broke. Obviously frustrating as beach umbrellas are meant to withstand normal beach wind without bending.

The screw in base along with the sand plate make this umbrella rock solid on the beach. Great value for the money.

I really like the design of this beach umbrella, which comes with its own anchor. It also has built in air vents so the wind can go through. We always need to bring the extra anchor for our umbrellas at the beach, but now we don't need it. Very cool design, and we can't wait to use it this summer.

Tommy Bahama is a quality brand name and this sand umbrella does not disappoint.I have lived in Hawaii for ten years and I have seen and used a LOT of umbrellas, pop up tents, and camping gear. My husband is born and raised blood Hawaiian and he said this umbrella was cool 🤙 and useful.I will say, when this umbrella's base and top support arms extend and snap into place, it sounds and reacts like high quality. Which is what you would expect from Tommy Bahama.I went to the grand opening of Tommy Bahama's clothing store in Waikiki, and this umbrella looks like it could be part of their classy Waikiki rooftop bar seating area on the sand.The base has a long spiral plastic extension that screws into the sand. It screws into the sand in a stable and durable way that I have never seen before.Directions say to screw base into sand first, then insert umbrella half of pole.Large shade canopy. It tilts and would also protect you from rain for about an hour if rain tried to dampen your beach day, which can happen unexpectedly.The quality and colors and style is so Kailua and high end classy.Easy to use, easy to assemble. I knew right what to do right out of the box without reading anything. Straightforward assembly in a couple minutes. I just don't know what the "wings" are for near the base.Love this! 🤙🏖️🌊🌺
