I had a repair to make. I used double sided tape and afixed one piece of this 1/4 inch plastic to the top of a cracked plastic iheater. The piece of cracked plastic was thinner so this thicker piece was safer than the thinner one since the thinner one was used in building the iheater. It's better than before and safer now too.

Great quality plastic for custom molding products. This 1/4” sheet is crazy strong.

The 1/4” stuff works great for a custom gauge cluster. It works very easy, and is quite stable. Cuts with a hand saw or a utility knife.

what can I say? it's an excellent piece of plastic.

This is a nice bit of ABS plastic sheet good! Comes in at 0.251, and the difference could very well be attributed to the fact I used a cheap caliper instead of a micrometer.

I have never seen an ABS sheet this thick before. I'm used to using the 1/8" sheets and gluing up if I need a thicker piece but this would fit the bill perfectly. Its just a hair under 1/4" thick but thats ok and it will fit into a 1/4" slot to fitting is easy. Since this is so thick you can't cut like thinner sheets by scoring with a knife and snapping it. you would be better of using a saw to cut. This is perfect for when you need a really rigid surface as there is less flex then thinner sheets. Drilling and cutting seems to be on par with other ABS products, so no surprises there.One side is pebble textured but it has a glossy finish that is not matt like other ABS sheets. The other side is smooth and glossy but you can see some artifacts in the density of the material so its not mirror like and perfectly smooth. I guess you could sand and polish if you need a mirror like finish. The smooth side has a peel away sheet to protect while handling and fabricating your piece.I'm please with this ABS and it will come in handy.
