Do not buy durability problems with cartridges and developer renders machine worthless
I purchased this machine new online just over a year ago. It worked great for about 883 prints then there was a message that the yellow cartridge needed to be ordered. A day later the message changed to yellow toner empty and the machine refused to print anything. The magenta black and cyan cartridges still showed over 90% left so I was a bit concerned. Called tech support and they had a service guy out since it was still under warranty of less than one year. He replaced the yellow cartridge and then after that didn't work the developer and the unit started working again. About two months and about 10 prints later the unit was now two days out of warranty and the black cartridge said it was now low and needed to be ordered. Again a day later the unit said the black was now empty even though I didn't print anything in the mean time. I called tech support and this time since it was two days out of warranty they didn't want to send out anyone to fix it but finally agreed after some heavy discussions to send a black cartridge but not a developer like I wanted them to do for free. I got the cartridge a couple days later and put it in and the unit still says that the cartridge is empty and needs replaced. Tech support would not do any more about this. I would suggest that others and there are many I am sure need to get a class action suit on this unit. This was an ongoing problem that should have been taken care of by the manufacturer. This shows horrible customer support. Xerox products should be avoided for future purchases as their quality has obviously gone down hill.

Mixed feelings
i didn’t know what I was getting when i took a chance and bought this printer im very familiar with xerox printers so i know the quality but the colors are perfect rich and vibrant the speed is average nothing to shout about if your not sure what type of paper google it cause once the setting it right it prints beautifully but they seller should mention the yellow toner defect which causes less prints I’ve already gone through more yellow toner than anything

Printer is not sent in NEW Condition. Was clearly used when opened. False Advertising.
Printer arrived on pallet. Opened the box up and opened the front door and saw a mess of tone stains and loose toner seemingly sealing out of the Drums. No toner cartridges were in the printer, but it is clear that they had been used before as there were toner stains all inside the door. This was advertised as NEW and cost $1,700+ as is shown on the Xerox website had I bought directly from them as well as on other sites. We'll be returning this, but what an unbelievable waste of everyones time. Never again will I purchase a larger ticket item from here. It just isn't worth the hassle.

arrived in poor condition.
This is the last time I buy a refurbished printer. When it arrived, there was toner dust everywhere, and when it was all cleaned up, the printer wasn't working correctly: there was diagonal banding. New drums were purchased to no avail. Every part that could be replaced by a tech-savvy consumer was replaced. Eventually I just gave away the printer to someone else who might be able to use it. In an attempt to save $600, I wasted nearly $3000.

Xerox VersaLink C7000 is unreliable
Xerox VersaLink C7000/DN is unreliable. It produces good prints, if you can make it work at all! When it quits working, nobody can fix it. Then you are stuck with instant junk. The prints are good quality. But, just after the one-year warranty period was over, the printer suddenly, without the usual warning to buy more toner, claimed that the "Magenta toner is empty". It was not really empty. The high-capacity toner should have lasted a few more months. Buying a new toner enabled me to print a few more pages, before the printer died again with the same error message, even with the new cartridge. Two different service technicians came to replace various parts on a total of 3 different occasions. Each time, they made the printer work for a few more prints before the dreaded "Magenta toner empty" message pops up. In the end, I am left with a hunk of metal that is worthless, since it won't print at all. Xerox says it doesn't want it back, not even for scrap metal. I have lots of expensive toner left in it that I can't use. Service is very expensive and also useless, like whipping a dead horse, because this machine simply won't print. It's less than 2 years old, and the last several months have been nothing but a big headache. If two technicians can't fix it after 3 visits, it's time to throw this printer away. I will not buy another Xerox printer.

DO NOT BUY
Great print quality but this printer will eat you alive on toner and maintenance parts. Drum cartridges are very expensive. Toner is expensive and the machine wastes a lot of the toner into a toner cartridge which you have to replace often. We DEEPLY regret buying this printer...
