I needed something to keep the wind and any dust out of my eyes after a cataract surgery. These were prefect. Light, great optical vison without distortion, and also perfect for sleeping to keep your ands out of your eyes for the first week. As someone who always wore glasses and not having anything covering your eyes is a new experience. I chose to heed the technician's advice to protect my eyes as they healed during the first month. I got both a clear and a sun shade pair. They came with a great zip hardcase and I was "fully covered" whenever I went out during the day (and we ha some very windy days!) as well as protected at night. Both pair were terrific outdoors, especially the sun shades.

I bought these for my husband who works outside as a landscaper. He needed these with the side shields for protection from debri blowing around. Also he needed the dark tint to protect his eyes from the glare of the sun. He likes the coverage but he said they fog up - even though they specifically say "anti-fog". So now he hardly wears them. These are unlike the clear version of these which do not fog up.

These are nice safety glasses with a good tint to help with the sun and a design that while not something I would wear as regular sunglasses it definitely doesn't immediately scream "safety glasses"My main reason for buying them is when I'm mowing and using my string trimmer in my yard. My eyes are very sensitive to the sun so I can't comfortably wear clear safety glasses on a sunny day but I also didn't want to have a rock fly up into regular sunglasses and shatter the lens into my eye. These are a nice combination where you get eye protection with a nice tint and the comfort of sunglasses.These are doing pretty good to block the sun and they seem like they will provide a decent level of protection. They haven't taken a direct hit yet so I can't say how they will stand up to that but I expect they will handle it pretty well. The side shields also give you protection from anything coming at that angle that wouldn't be blocked by a lot of safety glasses that only protect from the front.Another big plus is the adjustable length. I'm tall with a larger head and they extend even further than I need so anyone from a small person with a small head to a large person with a large head should be able to use these.
