Worked great on my small yard. Bagger is small, but easy to work with , had to empty every pass. I used it without the bagger the second time and then ran my push mower with a bagger on a low setting when I was done worked great. Best used on dry yard.

love this little machine it does some heavy duty work works great highly recommend especially being electric you could plug it in and clean up the yard and get all the underlying grass out and aerate the lawn for better growth

Buying this was cheaper than renting a scarifier for overseeding our front lawn. I didn't have high expectations, but It worked great. Seemed plenty strong enough to dig down into the dirt of a fully established lawn. It pulled up two huge commercial bins of thatch in the process. I cut the grass really low before using the scarifier. Raked, and then seeded and set the sprinklers to run every 4-hours for a few mins.A few comments:1. It requires more assembly than other similar devices... about 15-20 mins to assemble.2. The catch-bag is 100% useless. You're going to have to manually rake afterwards.3. The hold lever pinches your hand. Wear gloves.4. 13-in is very narrow. We have a very small front lawn that is 80% landscaping and 20% lawn, but even for that small patch of grass it was a slow process. If you have a medium-size lawn this will take a very long time. Don't even consider this for a larger lawn.

Great price! Made mince meat out of my thick st Augustine thatch. I can’t use the basket because it’s too small. Does a great job though of dethatching!

I have a 20' x 30' yard for which this works well. I wouldn't attempt to use it for a really large yard. It's a small unit. The collection bag is useless because it fills in one pass. So, I took it off and propped open the rear door on the unit, and let the thatch empty on the lawn. Then I raked. Worked for me.

Just like other review says it saves time and well worth it. I highly recommended this machine. I rake all dead grass in 1 hour that normally would take me days to do. No complain about the bag, so what it fills up quick. The machine does the job well. I wish i would have bought it earlier this season.
