This kit was what my sluggish old truck needed..... everything I needed was in the kit and the price had me dumbfounded.My truck is ALIVE and I'm lovin it.

Just as the other reviewer wrote, I was expecting name brand components? Rebuilding an engine is no small feat. Warranty? Failure often means toasted engine like heads or cylinders. If your looking for a cheap as possible rebuild it all looks good, but ya know where cheap often leads.....

You get everything pictured, that is not in question. The problem is they try way to hard to imply that this kit contains specific brand components that it certainly does not.Given the low price that should be obvious to anyone who knows what they're looking at but can you really trust components that claim to be something they're not? The actual kit known as the Sloppy Mechanics Stage 2 will run you about $600 and uses an Elgin cam, PAC springs, etc...Why not just say - "Similar to" or "Same cam specs as"?Do the components look bad? No, but the average buyer doesn't have a Cam Doctor to verify the grind or a Rimac spring tester to verify that the springs are in range, etcetera.This could either be the deal of the century or a complete waste of $200 and most won't know until they've created a much bigger problem if something fails. I think this is a kit best left for the person who wants to take a junkyard engine and slap it together with the least expensive components just to do an experiment.
