Provably different read active ingredients.
So the reason why many people swear by things like aquaphor and jack black intensive lip: Petrolatum. See petrolatum (pertroleum jelly or vasteline) is like really cheap but its actually one of the best things to put on your skin as far as a protectant is concerned. To the point its considered an active ingredient if its concentration goes above 30% and if you talk to EMTs and the like they will reccomend pure petrolatum over burn gel or neosporin. The thing is once you get over that 30% concentration things get... goopy normally. Which is why all the lip ointments people with serious lip problems or people who dont like waxy lips swear by are all in the little non cylindrical toothpase esque tubes. Like all the brands that keep popping up if you do your research and read like human reviews are all about 40% petrolatum. All of them, including aquaphor the biggie, seems like a sweet spot. But fear not: there is one brand, probably more but one ive found so far, has a chapstick style stick that is 40% petrolatum. All other brands have it listed in the inactive ingredients and behind oils/waxes. I feels so clearly different than other chapsticks and its SPF 45 so its better than almost all other chapsticks that way too.

Very nice!!!
Was looking for a lip balm with spf and this had great reviews. It definitely lives up to them! Tropical smells wonderful, kind of like key lime pie with some pineapple notes. The balm is super buttery and lasts for hours without drying up. Love!

Totally obsessed
Found this randomly at a gift shop in Florida and now I’m obsessed. It’s super smooth, keeps my lips soft, and the SPF is a great bonus. New favorite for sure.

Taste?
Although this is nice chapstick and doesn't taste bad it still has no flavor at all. I was looking forward to tasting it because of the reviews. No taste. Old maybe? Would buy again because I need the sunblock and it doesn't have a terrible taste to it.
