Very impressed with hw-Q910D
After decades of online buying/selling, I rarely leave reviews. I’m going to try to change that to help my fellow consumers. That said, here are my thoughts:First, I purchased this used (like new) from Amazon Resale. I’ve never purchased a used item outside of eB**, but i couldn’t justify paying the new price for a soundbar without hearing it in my house (impossible, of course). So, saving ~$500 made sense for me.I would consider the overall quality of the external box about what I’d expect. Internally, it looked absolutely brand new. Shopping time was 3 days as expected. Great experience overall. Now, to the actual product. I did a LOT of research at various price points before finally deciding I wanted to try a high quality system for around $450. Well. I paid a bit more for the 910D after viewing lots of reviews and ratings sites…it sounded like a good value proposition at this price (assuming the used product worked as advertised.. it did).I’m coming from a Vizio 2.1 channel that was bass heavy and decent but I wanted something nicer. This system provides VERY clear dialog and amazing surround sound. The subwoofer has complaints in some reviews but I’m going to give it praise. The reason for that is the sound is very balanced. If I want to, I can turn up the sub output and tinker with the EQ. I’d rather listen to quality sound that can rumble when it should without pumping out bass like the 2.1 system. It takes away from the experience in my opinion. As mentioned, it’s a very clean, balanced sound. The SmartThings app is easy to use and works well. One thing I recommend in the app is to turn off over the air soundbar updates (for those unaware, many Samsung sound bars were affected by a bad firmware update in March of this year).I hope this helps someone on the fence about whether to spend a bit more to get a lot more from the Samsung hw-q910d soundbar

This sound system delivers.
It’s definitely worth the money. Very nice sound system that delivers, the subwoofer is big and very powerful, the speakers complement the sound quality. You can crank it up and hear no distortion. I have a Bose system priced higher; however, I prefer the Samsung at this time.

Awsome
This is an awesome sound bar once you get it connected, which is a little stubborn in the beginning but once you get it connected, it’s an awesome system. I’m very happy I purchased it.

Better than expected
Initially purchased a different very high end sound bar but I must say this set up was exactly what I was looking for in a surround sound system. Very good quality sound!

Great buy, especially at the lower price I bought it
I bought a damaged box one and was worried if it anyway affected the speakers inside. Happy to report after a months usage, everything was in good shape with original packaging and works great.

Recent Faulty Firmware update that bricks sound system
As of March 10 firmware update. The sound bar is no longer functioning. The faulty firmware is affecting all Q series sound bars and is bricking them. Samsung is still working on a fix and determining if a Software fix can work or if the whole system needs to be sent in for repairs.

A hugh disappointment... Reconsidered.
Purchased this complete home theater system because I have a SAMSUNG 83-Inch Class OLED 4K S90D television in my family room which I love. Have additionally a SAMSUNG 65-Inch Class OLED 4K S95B Series television in my basement paired with a Samsung HW-Q60B 3.1ch Soundbar with two Samsung rear speakers attached. This has also been flawless and provided my family with hours of enjoyment. My new soundbar purchased through Amazon has been a somewhat disappointment. Spent hours working on the anemic bass response on this system despite turning the Bass Boost on and turning Base equalizer and Woofer up to the maximum of +6. Would be willing to put up with this despite the fact that a low cost Vizio unit that I had hooked up to the TV previously put this system's low frequency response to shame. The biggest headache however has been my inability to get my FIOS cable box remote to work correctly with this soundbar. Spent over an hour with FIOS support, who even sent me a second remote to try, which were unable to understand what might be causing the issue on their end and referred me back to Samsung support. Again spent an hour with a pleasant enough individual called Rafael who talked me through troubleshooting the various settings on the tv and soundbar without success. Finally put me on hold and got in contact with a higher level of support who relayed that the problem must be with the soundbar being so new needing a software update to work properly with the FIOS remote. Wanted to know when this update might happen and was told it would be only about a month. Since I have only had a limited time to return this unit I wanted to make certian when I could expect to have this issue resolved. Spoke with support again via a live chat but this time was told that it was NOT a software issue and that this problem with the FIOS remote would not be resolved with any future updates.Ok so since my last review I have been experimenting with various placements of the subwoofer around my family room. Finally found a placement that produces decent bass. All said despite the annoying issue with my FIOS cable remote I can say now that I would purchase this soundbar system again given it's quality, very good app remote and very good WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
