Does what it's supposed to
It works! My husband is very happy with this purchase. He always has to show off his tools. Easy to assemble but watch out when you use it, if you are not strong it might throw you!

Save your back
So far it's been working great, needed it to dig 37 holes. 15 dug so far. Update later when completed. Beats digging by hand!

I cannot recommend
Comes with a 25:1 mix bottle, and says 50:1 on the power head. I filled it with fuel turned switch to on primed carb set choke to on and started pulling. Not only does it not start, but after about 50 pulls 1/4 of the tank has sloshed out of the fill cap all over my shoes and socks and the ground.Amazon refunded with account credit. I don't wanna use the post hole digger 😭

Auger
Very powerful tool, I came across some thick tree roots and it sliced through it like butter, but you must be careful it will jerk you it's that strong of a tool I would highly recommend buying this product.

Powerful enough for homeowner use
I purchased this unit when I learned how expensive a 2 day rental of an auger from the local rental place was going to be, for an extra $10 I bought this beauty. I needed 9 holes drilled for an ATV bridge I was installing, and this worked great. It easily made it's way through hard packed soil and clay, occasionally it would get stuck on rocks but that was to be expected. Using the 8 inch auger, it quickly got to a depth of 18 inches. Pros: Easy to start, usually no more that 3 pulls, lightweight with decent construction, 3 bit sizes. Cons: The handles could be wider to give more leverage, when this baby finds a rock and kicks back... I've got the bruise to prove it. Overall, I highly recommend this auger, price, ease of use and enough grunt to get the job done.
