TKDMR 568 Pcs Heat Shrink Tubing - 4:1 Ratio,2.2" Length,Adhesive Lined, Marine Grade Shrink Wrap - Industrial Heat Shrink Tubing Kit

This tubing is thicker than the usual (non-adhesive, single layer) electrical shrink tubes I'm used to. So it took a bit of experimentation with the heat gun for me to understand when it was "done" -- That's on me, of course, not the product. I was waiting to see the ridges in the underlying metal ferule through the shrink tube. But these tubes are so thick, that the ridges didn't show through, even when the tube was fully shrunk. I melted a plastic connector on my first try :-)This stuff is great. It stays dimensionally stable when shrinking, so you don't have to worry about the tubing getting shorter and creeping away from the end where you want it to start. When done, it creates a NICE reinforcing tube. The tub also has a bit of stretch without tearing, so you can drag it over connectors and such easily.Definitely recommended.

They are in a convenient case which contains a nice selection of smaller, glue lined pieces of heat shrink that have worked well, so far. I would purchase again.

I'm always using heat shrink tubing. I was facing a big automotive wiring harness repair job due to some overly enthusiastic rodents. I saw this heat shrink kit as a lightning deal on Amazon and knew immediately that since I needed it I had to jump on the deal.I love the amount of tubes you get and the kit has plenty of different sizes available to.The only drawback I noticed was that the quality is not as good as some shrink tubing I've previously used but then again it's not the worst either.One other thing I disliked was the plastic container / divider box. I wish it was slightly larger since the bins are full to the top with tubes and they tend to scatter out of their respective bins . Everytime you try to snatch one tube out to use it tends to scatter the tubes into the wrong adjoining bins. a small problem especially with the smaller tubes, trying to keep them organized.But bottom line IMO you get A LOT of tubes that do an acceptable job , for NOT a lot of money.Recommend you getcha some
