I bought this set primarily to get the crimping tool to be able to crimp JST-X_ connectors properly - the tool does a fantastic job with JST-XH and JST-XP connectors, and has two slots for wire gauges 20-24 and 26-28.The crimping tool itself is sturdy, and seems like it will be more than adequate for my use (hobbyist). The box is well organised, arrived well packaged and contains a ton of JST-XH connectors, which will be more than enough for most people! I strongly recommend buying this set even if you just need the tool and a few connectors - at the price, it represents very good value, and the box keeps all the connectors organized.Delivery was earlier than expected, which was nice too!

I don't often leave reviews, but this crimp set has honestly really surprised me.First of all, it arrived within less than 24 hours. Next, even the cardboard outer box it came in is really well designed - despite the numerous spelling mistakes they have obviously put some effort in here to making it look nice. The inner plastic box with all the bits in is sturdy and well organised with proper separate clips for keeping it closed.The crimp tool itself works great, I am using it to crimp 20-24 AWG Molex terminals, which it isn't even designed for but it does a great job. I haven't had a single issue yet. Each crimp has been physically sturdy and I have tested them with a multimeter - all good. Sometimes the section of the crimp that grabs the wire insulation needs a little tidying up with a set of pliers but I can forgive it that as I'm not using the correct terminals for this tool.It comes with loads of JST connectors too - probably more than the average hobbyist would need. I am building a small model railway and this will be enough for me... I think they're supposed to be PCB mounted but I'm just going to use them as standard connectors.

This is the first small part crimper that has worked exceptionally well i have the snb28 which to be fair has crimped many dupont and the SM type JST but they are fiddly to do and the crimp isnt always good but these crimpers are in a different league they do all of the connectors JST,Molex,Dupont and they do them well every time for me anyway the bredth of the dye are smaller than the SNB 28 which really help as the bit that clicks in to place are not crushed as you crimp the best crimpers i own anyway and they feel sturdy as if you shake yor hand with the SNB 28 they are rattly and feel loose but these PEBA crimpers are solid in comparison for me 5 stars.

The tool is great and works well for the price it would be 5 stars but the poor documentation lets the product down.

Produces a great quality crimp on the pins, feels solid & well made. Definitely recommended.

I was reluctant to spend the money at first but after struggling to make good crimps with a pair of pliers this tool is going to save so much time. Good value too as it comes with a number of crimps and housings, all in a handy case. It feels like a quality tool and makes crimping my JST connectors quick and simple. It proved a little difficult to get the crimp and wire positioned in the jaws initially as they are so small and fiddly but when I mastered it my very first crimp was perfect - professional looking with both wire and insulation held securely.Update: As I already said, tool works well and connectors were all that I needed but I now realise that, contrary to the claim and picture on the box, it does not contain male crips or housings for them just male pcb sockets and female crimps/hosings

I've always found crimping difficult. This kit with its supplied instructions made it so much easier for me.

Needed to extend some cables in my PC and 3d printer. This kit makes it much easier and quicker to create cable extensions.

Overall this is a great set. The crimper feels solid, and the big assortment of connectors is just what I needed. That said, making these adapters is trickier than expected! The included instructions are good, but be prepared to waste several pieces before you get it right (if you're an absolute noob like me).Look closely at the metal part for the little "tooth" that latches into the plastic part. It's easy to crush that in while crimping such that it won't secure to the connector. My workaround was to make sure that the latch/tooth was hanging about 1mm out of the "back" of the crimper before pressing down; when I aligned the metal pieces flush with the front, I kept mashing it.It's a bit arts-and-craftsy, but you can definitely get a hang of it with some practice. The crimper works great, it's me that could you some improvement!

Die ersten paar Versuche waren nicht so erfolgreich, sobald man aber den Dreh raus hat geht es richtig schnell und einfach. Die beiden Zangen sind recht hochwertig und funktionieren beide richtig gut. Auch sind die Dupont Stecker und Buchsen recht hochwertig so das diese auch halten und nicht so wie bei den fertig konfektionierten wo ein Großteil gar nicht richtig hält.War und ist ein guter Kauf!

C'est un très bel ensemble , la qualité semble très bien, la pince à sertir fonctionne bien, bien sûr, vu la petite taille des connecteurs, c'est délicat à mettre en oeuvre, et ça demande un peu d'attention, mais ça fonctionne très bien .
