We live in a historic house which has many different pieces of hardware made of bakelite, so these are an excellent match. Vintage stye socket. Black Bakelite type material. I made my own clamp lights using these with black fabric covered lamp cord. Industrial chic. A little tedious to connect the wires, just take your time and it will work perfectly. Def recommend

These are quality sockets, easy to wire, and don't come apart in use like the press together sockets. I bought 8 white and 8 dark, and would have given them 5 stars, but several have one or both of the wire connection screws missing. These are packaged with 8 in a sealed plastic bag. Since there aren't any loose screws in the bags, I assume the screws were never installed at the factory.

Good value for the money easy to use

These electrical light bulb sockets were just what the doctor ordered. I wanted something simple to replace some light bulb sockets for a project and they worked out great.

I had to rewire my antique chandelier a few months ago and used these sockets. They are much sturdier than the ones with thin metal with the cardboard liners. These don't have switches attached, so they are more appropriate for chandeliers than lamps. The old sockets in the chandelier were from the early 20th century, so over a hundred years ago. These screwed in nice and tight and didn't deform like the cheap metal ones. They made the job of rewiring the chandelier much easier than it would have been without them.

Product came as expected I was very happy with the quality. On a sidenote, if you trim the tops of them, they will fit perfectly into a three-quarter inch pipe Union to make lighting fixtures.
