YN35mm F2
Given the quality of its optics, ergonomics, internal engineering, robustness of lens firmware and price one cannot ask for greater value for money.I have seen firmware of higher rated third party Canon mount lenses which starts giving firmware errors in Canon bodies after a while.Canon is a very exclusive club primarily meant for Canon lenses only. One needs to be careful with third party lenses for Canon DSLRs.Not Younguno lenses. They can be safely used in other mirrorless Camera bodies with suitable AF adapters without getting firmware messed up.Great lens with very respectable optics.

Really good lens
Good for money. Only the plastic quality is lower than canon lens, hence the price difference. Focus motors are a bit noisy too. Rest all is same. Basically would not hinder your skills.

Not the best built up
has been using for more than year on my Canon 5d Mark 3, and Sony alpha 7r,not the best for focus, it shakes very easily even you place it on tripod and click with a remote it still shakes, after year it started mal -functioning, unable to change the aperture or shutter, if you change the wheel you could only use one of th feather..I would say I am regretting buying this, where as my 50mm from canon is still working as a brand new one even after it fell in goa and have sand particles in it

Can be better
Great lens for the price.I have no complaints about the noise the motor makes nor the purple fringe it shows at focused areas.. which can be corrected in post processing. Noise is ok, i dont mind. But it gave me a hard time for Auto Focus in 60D. I have checked this lens in other cameras like 700D, 70D, 80D and 1200D. It works butter smooth. Dont know whats the problem with 60D.If you have 60D and you rely more on Auto Focus , ignore this. My work is more on Videos so auto focus i anyways dont use much.

My go to lens!! Exceeded my expectations!
The lens exceeded way beyond my expectations. The picture quality is pretty good. This is my go to lens for my videos now. I mostly use my gear for videos. If you want to have a look, you can search Ashwin Bhaskar on YouTube. You'll get an idea of the quality. One thing that I was worried when I got the lens was that, it doesn't feel that solid and when I slightly shook it, I could hear some rumbling from inside. I was kind of tensed but it was nothing to be worried about. I researched online, it's normal.
