I found this idea very good, as I melted the wax well and did not trip the house fusebox , also has a warm mode which keeps it in the liquid form while , making the candles

Does a great job, shame that they don't put recipes in for candles. But very pleased It pours beautifully.

Making your own candles is really simple with this electric melter. Note that although it comes with wicks, the kit does not come with any wax. So you will need wax. Soya is recommended as it burns clean compared to paraffin wax. You will also need some containers or moulds to pour the wax into, and you may also like to add a few drops of essential oil to create your favourite scent.This electric melter takes all the guesswork out of the process. It will maintain the optimal temperature, without boiling or burning the wax. Nice and simple, it’s a great activity to involve the kids. I decided to make candles and bought this to melt the wax. It heats up quickly and is light and easy too hold when emptying the hot wax into the moulds. Good spatula and accessories. A good starter kit.
