It's best to add it at the hdmi end going into your AVR, that way it allows the Silencer to work best as it works on the data coming through the cable.Hard to determine in real terms what it does because you install it and forget about it.It's certainly not doing any harm.

I was thinking my Oled can’t do any better, but I was wrong, I have connect that filter between my tv box and tv, and it’s a huge difference with picture quality, sounds better also. Try on PS5, you can spot the differences but not as much as on tv box. Definitely worth Money.

I connected this between a TV, a soundbar and a DVD player and had trouble. The TV and sound bar just did not speak to each other.However when used between a laptop and a screen it was fine.I don't think the unit is faulty but it does seem picky with where it is used.
