I have been detecting for awhile now and tried many detectors.... This one by far is the best one...Good price....good material....great decision....Definitely wld recommend.

I honestly can tell you all that this metal detector works very well for beginners. I have found a few items in my yard and my dad's yard. One item was a wheat penny from the 50s. I've only put a few hours into the machine so far. I will say the beeping with the machine was quite annoying and the wired earbuds they give you are very odd so it's best to buy a pair of cheap headphones from the dollar store or grab an old pair out of a drawer. I'm not a genius when it comes to metal detecting but the $10 headphones my mom gave me does the job well. So when you turn on the machine you'll have to constantly turn down the volume. There's no saved memory for it which is kind of a bummer. The screen display is pretty good sized. There's plenty of different modes and settings you can use. Also the pinpointer button does work well but I am always lost as to where on the machine it's suppose to pinpoint. So my biggest complaint has to be the battery cover. The plastic on this thing is really cheap. The machine took a 3 foot fall and the battery cover popped off and now it won't stay on if I bump it. I didn't have too much of an issue with it until I found out it's next to impossible to find a replacement cover. If the company is able to read my review send a replacement cover I'll update my review. The battery it takes is just one 9 volt battery. I bought a couple of rechargeable lithium 9 volt batteries instead. Though the original battery still works well so battery drainage is pretty minimal so far using headphones. I will leave a thorough review of the machine on my YouTube channel in a few weeks and will update this review accordingly.

Assembly is easy. Takes time to learn how to use and interpret readings, this would be true with any metal detector. Our house was built in 1880's so, for the first two days of use, I learned to use it in our yard and found the following items. Found a 1880's Chinese coin, two 45 caliber slugs and two 12 gauge shotgun shells that were made around 1910. Found a Clorox bottle cap with the price of 19 cents still on the cap, that stuff is $6.00 a gallon now. Plus found several modern coins and lots of nails.Very happy with my purchase!It would be nice if settings were held in memory so I didn't have to reconfigure settings every time it is turned on.

I love the large scanning head, sensitivity is great, discrimination is interesting, and battery power goes a long way. I have used it for quite a few hours and the battery is still going strong. I give this 5 stars for the value as opposed to other units that cost thousands I see advertised out there. I look forward to taking this on vacations as well since it comes appart easily and fits in a back pack that is also included!

It seems like a good metal detector, but the manual sucks. I can't find any other info on it.
