Feels very familiar – possibly the same as an older favourite
I’ve used this type of belly-firming cream in the past, around four or five years ago. Back then, I tried something from a brand that I believe has since changed its name – I’m almost certain it was from Maelys Cosmetics, which went quite viral at the time. This new one from the KOEC brand looks and feels exactly the same: same packaging, same bottle, same texture, and that same warm, slightly burning sensation when applied, especially on stretch marks. It does seem to improve the appearance of the skin on my tummy. My stretch marks look less visible, and overall, the skin feels smoother and more toned. I also remember using a similar cream for flabby arms, and the sensation was identical. The only thing that throws me off is the lack of clarity. I can't tell if KOEC has taken over from Maelys, or if they’re just very similar. If they are the same product under a different name, it would be good to have that made clear somewhere, because right now it’s a bit confusing.Overall, the product seems to deliver, but I’ve rated it three stars mainly because of the uncertainty around the branding and lack of transparency.
