The wood is soft but with extra support and painting it is really nice for the price. I use it for chicks and it’s perfect for that. It was easy to put together and modify myself without any help.

This is my 2nd coop from “PawHut” I had hoped it was designed the same way the first one was unfortunately this one has many flaws. For example parts don’t line up as they should ie. pre drilled holes for roof brace make it so the roof doesn’t fit. A lot of splintering wood when using provided screws overall this is a purchase I wish I wouldn’t have made!

This was fun to put together. Panels are pre-built with heavy-duty screen, strong enough for my cats, which I bought to attach to a window and sits on my deck so they can lounge outside and not get loose. The neighbor’s dog is a danger to them. I like that it has two doors and very solid once assembled. Very nice cat patio!

Product was of the size described. This product is made from very soft wood and has some predrilled holes for the screws, which makes it easy to put together for 2 people But, the soft, cheap wood and light weight construction means it would not last for long in an outdoor setting. I use this cage inside a barn with a concrete floor for raising chicks. It is big enough for 2 full size adult hens max.
