New Favorite Conditioner
TL;DR: Amazing (and expensive) conditioner. For the price, they could choose a better bottle design.I own a European travel business and absolutely love European beauty products. I had never heard of Augustinus Bader until I came across the products on Amazon. I have now tried five Bader products and love the brand. Even though none of the European friends I've questioned were familiar with Bader, I saw these products at every high-end department store I visited during my recent, three-country trip to Europe.A few months ago, I received Augustinus Bader The Shampoo, and it's the best shampoo I've ever used. I have fine, curly hair, and it managed to keep my hair from getting frizzy (in combination with my normal styling products), plus it took out the tangles even before I used conditioner. So, I was super excited to try this conditioner. The conditioner is on the thicker side, but definitely not the thickest conditioner I've used. The scent is a pleasant rose floral (to my nose). I found it easy to disperse evenly into my hair. I left it on for a few minutes while I washed my body, and then rinsed it off thoroughly. I didn't apply any styling products so that I could better assess the conditioner's effect on my hair.I can't remember the last time my hair felt this soft! I keep touching it, it's so hard to believe. Since I have curly hair, my hair does not normally feel soft. My attempt to skip styling products was a bust, though; if your hair tends to frizz, this conditioner won't prevent it. (Perhaps if I applied it as a leave-in conditioner, but leave-in conditioners weigh my fine hair down too much). The conditioner comes in a tube, and the top twists off. It would be better, in my opinion, if it had a flip-top lid. It's kind of a hassle having to take the entire lid off and find a place to set it down in my shower. Alternatively, they could use a similar bottle design to what they use for the shampoo (a lid that tilts open). In any case, I do LOVE that the bottle designs of the shampoo and conditioner are completely different. I am farsighted, and it's great to not feel like I need my glasses when I'm in the shower.Try the shampoo and the conditioner together if you want to splurge on self-care!P.S.A. If you're reading this review and really don't have this amount of money to spend on haircare, please go with a less expensive option. There are lots of good ones out there. These are the best products I've ever tried, HOWEVER, is the quality improvement worth such a drastic price difference from other, less prestigious brands? Not unless you've got splurge money.

Really great conditioner, but $$$
This conditioner is great! Lightweight, non greasy & easily rinse out. It leaves my hair soft, silky & shiny! It is definitely a higher priced conditioner... which is the reason for a lack of a star.

No noticeable conditioning on healthy, thick hair
The box and bottle has a really strong perfumed fragrance, but oddly enough, the conditioner itself doesn’t — in fact, it smells more “plasticky” than anything. My hair is left smelling simply clean without any discernible fragrance.I tend to use a lot of conditioner and this does not feel slick like other typical conditioners, even when I used a copious amount. The consistency is a little pasty which helps it hold onto the hair. Even when rinsing, there was no glide at all, but it did almost feel like there was a sort of silicone tacky coating on my hair strands, which gave me the impression of a protective layer. It MIGHT be aiding in protecting the hair, but I honestly don’t notice any “conditioning” effects. Maybe it is more obvious for dry/ damaged/ brittle hair, but it doesn’t seem to help soften or detangle my healthy hair at all.I do find it to be an interesting conditioner and I like that it doesn’t weigh my hair down, but it’s pretty expensive for what it is.

High level salon pampering for your hair
I have no hesitation recommending this conditioner. Whoa, the price is high but the quality is very high, IMO. What I'm starting to realize is that using fewer products with higher quality is what is making a difference with my fine/thin hair. With age, my hair is getting thinner. That happens. And I was throwing every product I could find to help it grow, shine, curl, improve... and this was showing some results, but not much. Plus I was getting overwhelmed. Using this AB conditioner gifted me a better finish line. I like that it's in a tube instead of a pump or squeeze bottle, it's easier to travel with. I like that it's not full of sulfate nor silicone and isn't scented with fragrance. I did apply a tiny bit of a different brand of leave-in light oil to just the ends (not a greasy product) but my whole head displayed reduced frizz and soft hair that didn't feel weighed down and this was such a delight in the end. Since that first time, I've done it the same way and it's consistently great results. My need is reduced for hair masks, overnight oils and other alternate haircare, so there is value in this remarkable conditioner.

Disappointed
Not that great!!! Does not smooth hair or make it shiny.

Improved my dry hair
This is the most expensive conditioner I've ever tried. Its thick texture truly softens my frequently dyed, dry hair. Since I prioritize nutrients and hydration, I'm impressed with how it's already improved my hair's condition. I'm eager to see its long-term effects!
