This is not a paid review. This is a review of a woman using all of BioCare's products while using a GLP-1/GIP injection. I am using Biocare for reasons when on a GLP-1/GIP medication the body needs extra nutrition. As a retired RN, I can express how this closely matches the old plan from the 90's called "Medifast" that many of my past patients used. It still may be around, but it helped hundreds of thousands of people get healthy results for weight reduction and lifestyle changes. Using one pouch every morning with other meal replacements for the day is superb in nutritional value. Yes the $55 per box of 14 packets is high, but so is our health and life. One deserves to have the option to buy quality products that provide this value. I have the entire Biocare line of products, the shakes, the pretzels, the cheddar cheese crisps, and the cinnamon crisp bars. I will continue to buy all of their product line for my GLP-1 journey to support the balance my body needs. The shakes are wonderful, since they are in individual packets for travel or the gym, they also mix great with other protein powders to add extra protein and mix very well with fruits and veggies if you want to add more calories. The chocolate one tastes like a milk chocolate bar and I like to add bananas with almond butter and it tastes like a almond butter candy! The strawberries and cream is wonderful with chia milk and strawberries and tastes like a milkshake. If you want the shakes to be even more delicious, you can add all kinds of profiles you love, so you can up your protein smoothie game! Using this with my injections has reduced my symptoms I suffer from using a GLP-1. I have one every mooring to start my day! A BIG thank you to Biocare for providing medical grade meal replacement power for those of us who are using your products! My cholesterol was 223 and is now 144, in just 6 weeks using this product line! Can't wait to see the continued weight loss and blood chemistries restore to normal !!!!

I have used this product for one week and could possibly be helpful with bloating ( but I have also adjusted my diet). This product must be shaken to dissolve the powder in water. The attached photo is me trying to use while traveling by stirring the product vigorously. Really should come with travel shaker at this price point for product.

The taste isn’t the best at all but I’m hoping I can adjust to it.

I have a lot of trouble getting enough food in every day, especially if I start having symptoms. I start my day with the BioHealth drink now and find I suffer less and feel more confident I have started the day with more of the vital nutrients I was lacking early on. The taste is good, it’s blends easily, and I can use it in my shake in the morning as a breakfast, or just as a drink to get started. It blends into water very smoothly for a good consistency. It’s a little pricy, so I don’t use it every day. But it is a good quality drink with enough nutrients and none of the fillers or preservatives I try to avoid.

The taste here is pretty standard, it tastes like tons of other chocolate flavored protein drinks I've had, it blends well, but I find myself using this product less frequently because the serving size is just 20g of protein, and I tend to want a little more than that, but don't want to double up because there's a ton of vitamins in this formulation, and it would feel like a waste.I haven't been able to notice much difference to my gut health or digestion using this, but it might be something that you only notice with sustained and frequent use.

This tastes pretty good - no aftertaste, and the chocolate isn't artificial tasting though it could be stronger. It mixes well if you use a shaker, and it doesn't clump or taste very grainy, though I could feel a fine particulate texture at the end so I probably needed to shake it longer. This comes in 14 paper pouches - each serving creates a 6-oz drink with 150 calories and 13 g carbs. It has most of the vitamins & minerals I have been taking in supplement form, although it doesn't include fiber. I am on the GLP-1 drug Mounjaro, which has caused some periodic nausea and bowel issues, so this should help with that. I plan to drink this in the morning as I no longer feel like eating then but need to have something to avoid low blood sugar. They recommend having two servings a day but I think this is overkill, as this provides 50% of the daily value for most of the vitamins in it, and I get the rest from the food I eat. This is very good, but a bit too pricey (about $4 per serving when I got it) so I will have to wait for a good coupon before I can get it again.

Value is a part of every buying decision. And it is hard for me to gauge what you find to be a value. Being a value is not just sale price. That said I have a hard time finding these to be a good value for me. At the time of this review they are 14 packets for $50. At that price I have loads things I find similar that are better per serving values to me.I feel the GLP-1 mention is not met with anything special that a protein shake can’t also take care of. That has been my experience with these as well. A sugar free protein shake will do the same for my need for a little something in the morning, but not put “food” in my belly, nor raise my blood sugar.Taste-wise these are tolerable, not something I look forward to.My take, these are an alternative to a protein shake, maybe you find the powdered mix here useful.
