Really makes the shower experience - both aesthetically and functionally. I had to cut the main tube (outer and inner) down by 10 inches, but it was made easy with a simple pipe cutter (inner pipe is about an inch longer than the outer). We have moderate water pressure (65psi measured on an outside spigot) and it’s plenty to run each head separately. Both simultaneously is a bit on the weak side, but with more pressure it would be a dream!I’m a relative novice and I got this up in about an hour. The trickiest part was getting the correct length threaded pipe that runs from within the wall to the adapter that feeds the unit. They’re cheap, and after being certain, and wrong twice, I bought a handful and returned the ones that didn’t fit (purchased those from my local Lowe’s).Looks great. Feels nice. Pricey, but very well made.

The idea behind this shower head is fantastic. So many great concepts, but the actual product is CHEAP, which is saying something for a $900 shower head. For a few months, it worked okay, and just had to be finessed so it wouldn't leak from one head when the mode was set to have it turned off. But after three months of use, I CANNOT get the rainfa shower head to the. Off when I want it off,meaning it drops on me, a constant stream, of colder water,when I am using the other head. No matter what I do, it will leak right on me from up above me, and it makes my showers completely unenjoyable. Plus, it leaks AFTER the water is turned off too. Something with the seals or gaskets is absolutely cheap. Very disappointed in the quality of this shower head.

I read all the one-star reviews prior to ordering, and as suspected, those people probably couldn't install a lightbulb correctly either. This shower is great. Workmanship and materials are excellent. Even as a retrofit install, there are many whom should choose professional installation as each install is different and inexperienced people shouldn't attempt to drill through tile for the installation, IMHO.Excellent water flow capabilities, and I really liked the three-way adjustment on the shower head, and the hand-held unit is nice as well.Pros: Build quality, water control between shower head and wand, plus individual controls on each end.Cons: Not inexpensive (but worth it), may still require professional installation

To successfully fit this into our bathroom the main pipe had to be shortened and bathroom tiles had to be drilled way too precise. One small screw was missing and one detail is intentionally not included and needs to be purchased separately.I recommend downloading the manual from GROHE site and watching their videos.Once installed - the product is great!

This is a nicely made retrofit dual rain showerhead plus handheld shower at the best price I could find at the time. Installation is straightforward if you have some carpentry experience. In my case the installation was through hard tile where I couldn't locate the studs and I didn't have the correct tile drill bits and I didn't want to risk breaking a tile so I had it professionally installed. After watching it being installed I would do it myself in the future. The plumbing part of the job is really pretty basic. I would recommend this unit.

It looks great but the water flow is reduced from the standard .5" down to a .25" so the pressure is greatly decreased.My old shower head had great pressure but this unit's pressure is rather embarrassing.Because you have to drill holes in your wall tiles to mount the unit I am stuck with it until I decide to remodel my shower.The video makes it look simple to install but it is not as easy as it looks, especially if you have tile to drill through.I really do not feel this item is worth the money I spent for it.

I bought this as a damaged box discounted item. I honestly could not tell you why they even called it a damaged box. It arrived in great shape on the outside, and was perfect on the inside. I saved over $200 buying it this way. I am very happy with this set up. I no longer have to deal with the temperature changing any time someone else runs the water in my house! The rain head has three different settings, and the hand-held is super easy to use. The controls allow you to easily switch between the two, or you can use both at the same time. The hand-held is super easy to adjust the height on the slider bar. I can’t say enough about this. I am very happy with it.

The water pressure is non existent, spent countless hours with the Support team, removed all possible flow valves, but no luck. Also, the thermostat is very slow to change temperature
