This monitor really grew on me
Bought for $900 on black friday. I wish I had bought the 240hz version, but honestly the 144hz is fine considering the fact that most games can't even run high fps on this nearly 4k monitor (at least in terms of pixel count). At first I really didn't understand the hype around oled color contrast and 1440p. However, that all changed once in toggled on the true black hdr 400. The outstanding hdr in combination with the 1ms response time of the oled pannel, and I honestly have a hard time going back to my 16:9 240hz 1080p va pannel. I have a very powerful rig that can push this monitor very outstandingly at max settings (rtx 4080 super, i9 14900kf, 32gb ddr5); however, I'm not too sure how well you will be able to push this monitor with anything less (unless you don't care about heavy upscaling and not having max settings). Anywho, I would totally recommend this monitor for enthusiasts, and if you don't have a top of the line rig, I'd definitely recommend the normal ultrawide oled or even just the normal 1440p oled. I've had this monitor for roughly 3 months; and, while at first, I somewhat regretted my purchase, I eventually came around to loving the thing and I now understand the oled masterrace! ✊️😤🫡

Incredible monitor!
Awesome monitor. Everything is so far so good. I'm switching from an Odyssey G8 LED which I really enjoyed however wanted to see what all the hype with OLED and Ultrawide was all about and definitely will not looking back. My only recommendation is to purchase some screen cleaners with it, the glossy finish is prone for easy dust and fingerprints to show up and from what I read of OLED its possible for some image burn in to occur so when not using your PC just put it on sleep mode. For another world of warcraft players like myself with a 4080 super or equivalent expect roughly 80fps in busy cities and 45fps during 30 man raids for retail.

Great Monitor, Unfortunate Experiences
I was really excited about this monitor when I first received it and wish I could be leaving a better review. The picture quality is fantastic and the colors are crisp and vibrant.Approximately three months after my purchase, the screen began to flicker in and out on occasion. Eventually, it went completely black, and did not come back. I contacted MSI customer support and opened a ticket. They directed me to repackage the monitor and ship it back for repair/replacement. Per MSI's customer service guidance, I was to be responsible for the shipping cost, which ended up being nearly $200. After waiting the few weeks for resolution, I received a monitor back from MSI. I quickly realized that the monitor that was shipped back to me was not the repaired original, nor was it a new replacement. Instead the display I unpackaged had been previously opened and was since refurbished. The screen on this replacement has markings along the top that I have been unsuccessful in cleaning off, but are largely unnoticeable while the display is on. On top of everything else, the "new" monitor came packaged with an open box/refurbished/pre-owned warranty notice specifying a far more restrictive warranty period (180 days). So in short, I ended up paying nearly $200 more to end up with a refurbished version of the monitor that I had bought brand new in December of 2024. If I knew that this would be my experience, I would have explored other options.

More than just a 32x9 monitor
Coming from a dual screen side by side screen with a TV monitor above setup this is a major upgrade, being a 31x9 aspect ratio monitor it is like having 2 monitors side by side without a split but you gain more than that. By losing the split between the 2 Monitors this is wide enough to put 3 sets of browser windows across and have them plenty big enough to use.Picture wise this blows my old monitors out of the water, some reviews say they see issue with text quality as I type this on a white background I cannot see any the "issue" they were complaining about as this is as sharp of a picture I have ever had on any monitor, and the colors are also crazy good.I do use this in a dark room so glare is not an issue, only had it a few days so far but I am already trying to figure out how to get one for work. The stand is stable and the adjustments of height swivel and tilt are great. The MSI software so far looks to work well to control the monitor, it is a little slow, but is so much easier than trying to use the built in menus on the monitor itself (but even that is not bad compared to many other monitor I have used over the years).Gaming wise you can't go wrong with this other than it will take a powerful card to play AAA titles at full res.

AWSOME 49IN OLED
Awesome monitor for the price. Seems like MSI doesn't have all the Quality control issues that Samsung has. Very vibrant colors. Definitely bright enough. HDR looks amazing. Asks alot out of my laptop though. Only getting 33fps on AC shadows on very high quality using dlss.

A whole new world
Did a lot of research on super ultrawide monitors and for the price, this was the best option hands down. I will be using this for work and gaming. For gaming, they colors are super vibrant and old games feel new again with the added screen space. Workwise, its like having two monitors if you setup correctly, but I can put my main content on the middle of the screen when on zoom calls vs looking back and forth between two monitors.
