For the price, can't be beat!
Pleased to say I just received this a little while ago. I will say that for the price, it's tough to beat. It's really a great bargain compared to some similar ones I've come across. Looks much better as well in my opinion. Pretty well constructed, solid, and I like how the top can be easily detached when and if needed. It's pretty light weight when empty, but obviously that will change once you get some records in there. But the handles do make it easier to move than not. Perhaps some wheels on the unit would have been a nice touch as well and a little easier to move when full. This case looks cool and really does draw your eye to it. Keeps your records secure and safe. Odyssey really did a good job with this product.A couple very minor issues though that I feel I should mention. I am not too sure if this exactly fits 200 LP's. I have just over 130 in my collection at the moment, give or take. I do have some double LP's and there are certain ones, single and/or double, that are much thicker covers. With that said, squeezing them all in was just that. I thought I'd have some wiggle room once they were all in but not really. Maybe the polypropylene outside covers account for a tiny portion of space as well, but either way this may be closer to fitting 170-180 rather than 200. I could be wrong, but just a word of caution if you have around the same amount or more in your collections.Another thing is that when the top closes, there isn't much room between it and the covers. So if you have yours in protective polypropylene covers like mine, you'll hear them being pressed down. I don't believe it's damaging the albums at all, it's just the plastic covers that are being pressed, but just another word of caution. So all in all, I am really pleased with this case. And despite the couple of little things I disliked about it, I would purchase another one in a heartbeat. Hopefully they can improve on making a little more room up top, but either way it's a great unit to keep your collection secure, safe, and playable for years to come! Hope this review helps. Happy spinning! 📻

Ultimate Protection for Vinyl Records A Case That Withstands the Test of Time
These cases survived two big house moves while keeping all my vinyl records safe. I highly recommend this product. The sturdy construction and secure latches ensured that my records remained intact and undamaged throughout the moves. The cases are designed to provide excellent protection against bumps and drops, which is crucial when handling delicate vinyl records. Additionally, the interior padding offers extra cushioning, preventing any scratches or warping. These cases have proven to be incredibly reliable and durable, making them an essential investment for any vinyl enthusiast. Whether you're moving or just need a safe storage solution, these cases are a must-have.

Sweet glue smell and oh so delightful.
While not getting into the technical specs (other reviewers have covered this case with that info) I am very pleased with this storage crate. I have close to 300 vinyl albums and will have to get another case to accommodate them all. Amazon shipped this out super fast through Prime so no complaints as to the shipping or packaging. It is not that heavy, but my delivery person was struggling with it a bit due to the size of the box it arrived in. Once I cracked open the outside box, the actual product box was much more manageable.Once I opened the case itself it had a light sweet odor of gluing. The carpet material is top notch quality! The 12" vinyls that I stocked into this case fit nice and tight, and I only had trouble with trying to fit one oversized vinyl album (a triple gatefold David Bowie record) but it still fit on its side. It could easily fit 200 single LP's, but since I have a lot of double LP's, it was more like 160. That is really not a problem considering I intentionally left more out that it could hold because I like enough slack that I can "flip" through my albums and see enough of the cover to know what album it is.The quality of the case is just boss. I feel like I could throw it off a twelve story building and still have usable records afterwards. (I would not recommend testing this hypothesis). It's a nice stark black in color, and the metal corner binders are glowing in silver. The padded handles are comfortable, and if I were Sampson, I'd have no trouble picking this case up fully loaded with LP's. Since I am not, an assistant would be required to lift this when fully stocked.I am dug in for years at my home, so having this case in front of my sleigh bed looks natural in my permanent dwelling. Although, if I were the type of person that would move around a lot, this case looks enough like a travel case to confuse its presence as the holdover of a touring DJ. Some lost artifact of DJ Shadow as he was between gigs. This case is a must buy if you cherish your vinyl LP's. I lucked into mine on a refurbished Amazon Warehouse sale, but I am constantly tempted to pick one up at the current value of $129.99. It is actually worth the investment. If only all products were made to this quality, I would be able to stock up and forget about everything in my home. The Bottom Line: Recommended.3/4/2016 Edit: I pulled the trigger and bought another case when it hit amazon warehouse (~$106.00) I am more than pleased with the second case. Virtually identical to the first. You only have yourself to blame if you don't purchase one. If you love your albums, you absolutely must get this case! I've never been happier.
