Great device!
Love that it's set up with the emulators and games ready to go. Of course you will need to add your own. Very good value and good controls

Awesome little device. Especially for the money
Runs like a champ. I use to run emulators on my pc starting back around 2006. WOW to ever imagine back then. That you could emulate every console and fit it in your pocket with 5hr battery life. I was a big tech guy and futurist back then. I still probably would not believe it was possible in such a short time and for $60 even in 2006 money

Amazing for nostalgia
Considering this handheld comes in at the same price as a gameboy on ebay and allows you to play more than just NES and SNES but a bunch of stuff. So out of the box the packaging feels like it's a premium product and the buttons are extremely nice. The joystick adds the ability to use it instead of the dpad or as an additional input for consoles such as the psp.ALTHOUGHT out of the box the console comes with a 16gb SD card for OS and a 64gb for games(preloaded) I would recommend tossing both, installing ArkOS which has much better performance and emulation, but also upgrading the SD cards to SanDisk or Samsung so that they perform better as well. You can buy this product, turn it on, and play right away without any additional hardware or software. If you are looking for a handheld, for a good value, with good battery life, and an amazing screen, I recommend this over and over.

Worth it, despite the effort needed
Pretty solid device, technical skills are needed. Primarily playing Sega, Nintendo, SNES, and Gameboy games. There is some visual lag for Sega/SNES games. After updating it, last update was from 2023. If you're trying to play in bed while your SO is watching tv, not going to happen. Buttons are too noisy. Other than that, I do enjoy it.Oh and definitely buy some Samsung SD cards and use Win32 Disk image to make copies of the cards. The ones it comes with could be 3D printed they are so cheap and flimsy.

The Nostalgia is REAL
Was great to be able to play all the Super Nintendo games from my childhood!

Display (Screen) issues **Updated 1/21/2024**
**UPDATED REVIEW**The reason for this screen issue had something to do with the custom firmware or OS (operating system) I was running on it, which was JelOS and even 351Elec. This device can run both of these perfectly but in order for the screen to function properly and not do this you have to get a specific screen driver file for this display. These custom firmwares work on several of these handhelds and the developers of these custom firmwares update the drivers the best they can in order to work universally on the devices that they support. This device is several years old so the display drivers on these current custom firmware’s don’t work anymore with this specific device and you would need to Google and find the display driver file for the RG351V and then transfer it into the folder of whatever custom firmware you want to use. People have already done this and so have i, but they explain it. It’s a simple drag and drop solution and finding the file is easy. Just search “RG351V display driver”. That should get you started in the right direction. Point is, this handheld is not broken or defective, it’s simply a driver issue that’s easily fixable.**INITIAL REVIEW**Though this is a fantastic product, it really is, I’m having issues with the display not displaying anything after being turned off and then back on again and when I wake the device from sleep. This happens after using it for awhile. When I take a break from playing, I come back to it and the screen doesn’t show anything. It’s on but no sound and no picture. It takes several times for it to do this but the display will inevitably stop working. I’m tech savvy and extremely familiar with these, I own several just like it. I’ve never had an issue like this. I’ve opened it up and checked the internals and there’s nothing wrong with any of the ribbon cables and nothing wrong with the screen ribbon cable, nothing is damaged or nothing looked damaged. I just got this as well. I’ve only had it for a week and the screen issues happened ON THE FIRST DAY I had it. The only way I can get the screen to work again is if I take it apart then put it back together. It’s really weird. Turning it off and on DOES NOT FIX IT AT ALL. So I obviously have a defective display. My advice to anyone buying is buy with caution. 50/50 chance that you also could end up with a defective display. I read someone else had the same issue.

NOT FOR NEWBIE TECH FOLK OR PEOPLE WITH SMALL HANDS
Thought this would be the same size as the 35XX but it is like a whole inch and a half bigger. The screen looks the same size but the device is bigger. Nice finish and I liked the wood color but I need to learn more about the tech/gaming world before I jump into this

Good for the price
Though there are things that could be improved on the unit, all in all the unit works great. I write in other reviews people complain about the lag when you play later consoles like the PSP PS1 and then N64. But this is a common issue across any portable handheld that you can purchase under $100. Great for kids and old gamer adults..
