Scam?
Return window closed because I was waiting for my old lamp to completely die before replacing it with this one, I just replaced it, but the lamp is already burnt out. I think this product might be a scam.

Pictures were higher definition than I am expecting...
I'd rather buy a replacement bulb for my Epson video projector in the future, cause it is really much valuable that I purchase an OEM one. It will cost me as three times as the same functional item. This replacement bulb was a manufactured bulb from YOSUN,currently I found no defectives on this bulb. It was perfectly matching the machine. The brightness was even much better than my original one. Pictures were clear enough as the images showed that.

Replaced burned out lamp with this model for an older projector...works great!
Going on a couple months since replaced. The bulb that was in the projector that I acquired was really dim. After I checked the hours on it was time to replace. The factory bulb was super costly because it was an older projector. Found this just to try because it was affordable and it's worked great. I didn't have high expectations but works good. There is a band at the top not sure if it's my projector or due to the lamp. But I always watch 16:9 programming so it has black bars so it's not noticeable. Projector probably needs replaced at some point and this bulb will help me limp along!

Love It!!!
The replacement lamp was delivered on time and properly packaged to ensure that there would be no damage. The lamp was easy to replace (took 10 minutes) and I was watching movies again. Make sure to reset your usage hours on your projector after installation. I HIGHLY recommend this product!!

It turns on an works, but that's where the fun ends.
Typically I I buy ~$35 bulbs and have to re-seat them in their housings before install to get them to perform properly, and they last about 1000 hours or so before they get noticeably dimmer and I start thinking of replacing them...and then finally break down and actually do it at around the 1500 hour mark when it becomes unwatchable in all but a totally dark room. I decided to spend the extra money on this one in the hopes of not having to work on it before the install, and having good brightness a little longer between bulbs.I was pleasantly surprised that it was properly seated in its housing and looked like a decent bulb, although none of these aftermarket bulbs really stand out from each other when holding them in your hands. I installed it and immediately noticed that the bulb was no brighter than the bulb that I was replacing. I figured I would give it a few hours to break in and possibly get brighter....It didn't. Ultimately the color isn't very good, and has a slight green cast to it. This bulb also flickers noticeably at times, and then will steady for an hour or so before flickering for a while. Nothing major, but enough to give you a headache for some unknown reason, like listening to a radio station that's just a little out of tune. You don't realize how bad it was until you turn it off and everything gets better.
