Petlife Safebed Paper Dog Bedding for Dog, Off-White, 10 Kg

I've been trying various beddings for my rats and many result in an allergic response. Even the hemp bedding that many love.I tried this Safebed having read a recommendation on a rat owners' page and when it arrived I was a tad concerned as the packaging stated 'for dogs only - not suitable for small animals'.The comforting thing was that the bedding is made from natural non-toxic products and is ultimately just a form of paper. Seemed perfectly safe for the girls.This is a huge bag. I thought at first it was a bit expensive yet when cleaning out the cage and filling the base of the cage, it hardly made a dent. I've seemingly put way too much into the cage too as they've moved loads into their toilet to make a nest, and the base of the cage is still deep with bedding. Great for sprinkling food so they can rummage about and eat.I'd definitely recommend this stuff for rats. From early signs it looks like it's going to last a long time and it's been almost a week since i cleaned them out and they're still smelling fresh! I was concerned as the weather has turned cooler and the windows are less open than normal. It's not been a problem though smell-wise.The girls seem to love it too!Will be sticking to this stuff.

This bedding was recommended by a friend who also keeps ferrets. I was delighted with the speed of delivery, it was a shame the bale was damaged and bedding was trying to escape. I have been very happy with the quality of paper, softness, size etc. The ferrets adore it, they've been making lots of nests. It is certainly safer then alternatives like straw. Minimal risks to eyes and of mould spores. I will definitely repurchase.

Shame prices are so expensive but is what I have really needed...some paper is just cut too small and goes everywhere...

I have used this company bedding before for puppies but this bag was out the ark.strands way too long and strong and not suitable to use with young animals.it should never have been sold and now I have to find another company because I will not order any more from you

Exactly what I wanted - have a bitch in whelp and this is ideal for her bed when she is giving birth.
