Durvet 3 Bottles of Chlorhexidine Solution, 16 Ounces Each, for Cleaning Superficial Wounds on Dogs and Horses

This Chlorhexidine is a 2% solution, and I have been using it DILUTED 1/10 - 1/15, as a dental rinse for my older dog, whose oral hygeine gets harder every year, it seems. It is supposed to be about .12%... that's POINT, as in diluted. It has made a huge difference...I also swab a little along my beardie's tightly clenched lips to keep his oral health up and avoid mouth rot.

This is a great disinfectant on the farm.

I love that these came in three smaller bottles. Easier to store, monitor when to order more if needed, and incredibly easy to pour to dilute in a spray bottle

As pictured and as described - 3X 16oz bottles of 2% concentrated solution. 1oz of Chlorhexidine Solution to 1 gallon of water. Keep away from eyes and ears. Bottles arrived sealed with clear 1 year expiration date in bubble-wrap-bag in box. Recommended item for price point, quantity, and thoughtful packing. Doing the maths 16x3=48 gallons/181.7 liters of solution made.

Using this on my dog’s skin infection hotspot. Ordered this because the small bottle from vet was not going to last. Same active ingredient as the liquid from vet. Same great smell, a little darker blue but no difference. It works. The hotspot is healing nicely and I have enough for next time.

chlorahexadine is a wonderful wound cleanser without the sting of rubbing alcholol. i use it for myself cuts and scrapes and for my pets. Must dilute as 2% is very strong!!! Vets and ranchers likely use this, but i dilute to about 5ml/1 teaspoon per 1 gallon of tap water and it seems okay.

wish I could buy this product by the GALLON!! Maybe just a California thing..... IDK
