Brought this as it allows different pod types and even ground coffee. Very easy to.use water comes out very hot unlike most other coffee pods machines as we have found. Great buy.

I ordered this Kotlie 4 in 1 espresso machine because the versatility of it. It can make espressos, coffee, hot chocolate, bagged tea and take a variety of different drinks pods. You can also use loose tea and coffee in it. It works great too, with only one or two minor quibbles stopping it from being a 5 star machine.The good:It was super easy to set up and use. There are instructions and they're fine, clear and well laid out but honestly this is rather intuitive. The water tank is easy to fill (you can either remove it and fill it under the tap or just leave it where it is and fill it with a jug etc). The water tank is 800ml which is more than enough for several rounds of hot beverage and everything is easy to clean and maintain. It's also easy to change the pod holders over. My favourite thing about this though is that it takes seconds to heat the water up and create your drink. It saves so much time! The machine is also compact so it's easy to put it on the counter without it taking up too much space, it's very slimline. I also like that there are different drink size settings (and if you want a really big drink you just need to long press the button to get it!).The not so good stuff:One thing that bugged me a little about this machine is that you need to be careful as water does collect in the pod holder. Not all the drawers have warnings on them about the potential to be splashed with hot water. Thankfully I realised just in time and moved my hand out of the way. Note: let the machine cool a little before trying to remove the used pod! It's also rather loud, especially when you first start using it and the water is filtering through for the first time. The accessories are a little cheap, the scoop and tamper are functional enough but they are plastic so you might want to buy something a little bit more robust.Still, those are minor complaints. Overall, this is a decent hot drinks machine and I like it. It's versatile, well made and produces hot drinks in seconds. Plus the water tank and piercing needle are made of BPA-free material which is something I always look for when shopping for food and drink receptacles. A solid 4 stars.
