Piquillo Spanish Little Beak Tapas Heirloom Pepper Premium Seed Packet + More

Received ten seeds exactly as the description stated. I planted 4 and all four sprouted and have grown to small healthy plants that are ready to transplant to a larger pot. Knee jerk reaction to only 10 seeds is negative but after consideration I will be happy with three or four productive pepper plants and so far these are progressing perfectly. I fully expect to eat delicious Piquillo Peppers in a few months and plan to reserve seeds from a couple of this years best looking peppers.

It took a long time for the seeds to sprout so be sure to give them time. I was a little disappointed there were only 12 seeds in the package, but since they are all growing now I feel a little better.Product arrived in good time. Overall a good company.

0% germination rate, unfortunately wouldn’t recommend.

Although I did receive 15 seeds, only three actually germinated. From past experience and from reading reviews elsewhere online I was aware of the higher difficulty in achieving germinated piquillo pepper plants compared to other members of the pepper family. However, a 20% germination rate is simply too low to justify purchase again in the future. Perhaps if the seed packets were larger at a similar price point it would be worthwhile.

Ready to plant when frost is no longer a danger. Love these peppers for a variety of uses.

So far, 100% of the seeds have germinated and are starting to put on their first true leaves. I may update to five stars after I can guarantee that these are, in fact, Piquillo peppers.

I'm very disappointed in the Piquillo seeds that did not germinate. I'm an experienced gardener and plant seeds starts for my entire vegetable garden with great success. I tried contacting the seed company but their web site is not correct. These were expensive seeds: $6.00 for 10 seeds.

Somehow my seeds did not arrive on time, so the owner also sent me a seedling with the seeds so that I could at least grow one plant this year. I planted it in a pot and it grew nice and healthy. Already produced 7 large delicious peppars and still has 3 more green ones. I cant wait to grow a full garden next year. Excellent customer service. I will keep buying from this company and already have several other items in my wish list.
