WD10SPZX 1TB Internal Hard Drive

I was concerned about changing my Freesat hard drive, but the alternative was to send it away and end up spending over £130.00 to have it done professionally. Spending little more than £ 27.00, not only was it very straight forward, I also changed from 500gb to 1tbfor that price and it worked first time with no hassle. If I could do it, so could you.

If you are upgrading the hard drive in a TV recording box this one is perfect (check yours will take a 2.5 inch drive).It arrived quickly (thanks Amazon) and was nicely packed.It slotted straight into the holder in our Arris 4K Freesat box and once I had put the cover back on and powered it up, the Arris recognised it straight away and now we have double the storage we had before.It runs really quietly and very cool (the Arris monitors hard drive temperature) and records perfectly. If you are thinking of upgrading your TV box then you MUST use an AV drive like this one, a "normal" drive like you get in a PC in NOT designed to run 24/7 and will not last very long.We now have space for hours and hours of recordings, we just need to find some good stuff to record :)

Just followed instructions on YouTube. It was a doddle and it initialised itself when I switched the box on.

In my FreeSat box, the existing 500GB Toshiba drive failed, so I replaced it with this 1TB drive from Western Digital. Worked straight away, very easy fix!

Purchased this to replace a dead drive in Humax Fox T2. As the drive is 2.5 inch it had to use a different mounting caddy no issues tho and works perfect. Would recommend over terrible Seagate drives that have failed twice in the past.

Solid state would have been better. But that was down to my own finances. Western Digital in my experience has always been quite reliable. After using for several months I have had no problems.

Good replacement HD for Arris Freesat box

Not sure that I got an AV25. But one delivered was even more expensive and it works OK. I suspect it's a bit more noisy though.

Habe die Festplatte für meinen Topfield-Festplattenrecorder gekauft, nachdem die ursprüngliche nicht mehr erkannt wurde. Der Einbau war leicht und sie hat sofort funktioniert und ist auch angenehm leise.

Es Perfecto y a un superprecio, compre 2 uno para mi PS3 y otro para PS4 y funcionando perfecto incluso note en Ps3 que carga los juegos mas rapido y trabajan las 2 muy bien, se los recomiendo al 100%

Il me fallait un disque du même type pour remplacer celui de ma box fibre internet, un 160 Go .Du coup 935 Go de disponible !Certes plus cher qu un disque habituel en 1to, mais conçu pour diffuser ou enregistrer 4 flux simultanés HD, 16 moi de cache ( contre 8 en général....si si ça joue) et prévu pour fonctionner 24/7 sans trop de chauffe.Et cerise sur le gâteau la taille confortable permet de vraiment utiliser leurs fonction NAS de la Box
