I ordered these a while ago. The black and blue seemed to work fine on my Brother printer. However, when I needed to change the yellow and red, for some reason my printer refused to accept them. I ended up running to a local computer shop and buying Brother ink for $55!! Jeez! It was an emergency as this was for work and it was disappointing to struggle with the 2 colors that wouldn't work. I don't understand why 2 colors worked and 2 didn't. makes no sense.

These cartridges claim they are good for up to 500 pages with 5% coverage. Now I don't know what percentage coverage an average printed page is but I do know that most of the pages I have printed have not even been full pages and have consisted of nothing but text. The picture I posted is where my printer claims my black ink level is currently. I have tracked the number of pages I have printed up till this point. I just printed out my 31st page today. Yup-that's right-31 pages and the black ink is over half empty. The magenta and yellow are even worse as I have only printed out a couple of pages in color. I'm not sure if the cartridges are actually emptying this fast or if these off brand cartridges are making the printer think it is at that level but either way once it says empty it will no longer print so it really doesn't matter. These are garbage and I advise against buying them and will definitely not be doing so myself.Update: I have finished the previous black cartridge and am now using another one from the same package. I have printed 65 pages (far short of the 500 advertised) and my printer just told me that my black ink is low. DO NOT BUY THESE GARBAGE CARTRIDGES!!!!!!Update to my update: The cartridge just became "empty" at 80 pages printed....... They claim 500 and you get 80......
